I'm new here, but this looks like a thread I'll frequent. I really like Joker, and great OP btw! I didn't have much hope in the EDI thing, but it's hella funny and creepy in ME2.

Joker brought me comfort in many ways:

1. This man is funny pretty much whenever everyone else is being too serious, except Shepard, who is sometimes more appreciative of his talent.

2. His character is a reminder than people should not be thought of a "cripples" or some other unfortunate term but as people first.

3. He's probably not my first choice for diplomat to the Geth, yet that particular scene was an example of a character so well conceived, written, and acted that even without spoken dialogue, he's delicious.

4. Most importantly, I've been wondering for 16 years (I'm 29, and somehow this topic just hasn't come up in RL) if all men grew their facial hair in a day, like my brother-in-law, but Joker isn't ashamed that it took him 7 weeks.

I would definitely support a Shepard/Joker thing. It's one thing I hoped would come up in all of Shepard's conversations with Joker (In my case, FemShep is my favorite). However, I'm really loathe to "cheat" on anyone, which almost makes me feel a ME1-2 unique character is necessary (My standard has Kaiden), but I don't have the patience to play ME1 as other than soldier @@, especially since it crashes unlike ME2's much rarer crashes.

Actually, I just realized my original FemShep basically made the same decisions but never got with Kaiden (my official transfer is actually from a level 59 on second run of ME1). Well, bring on the Joker! Here's hoping.

Those Joker, Wrex, and Mordin cookies are imba cute.
