Okay!
So today something magical happened - I decided to finally stop lurking!

I've been lurking this thread for longer than I can remember. I am a huge Joker fan (pretty much adored him from the first time I saw him) and a Jokermance enthusiast.

Today I finally decided to make an account so I can reply here. Probably won't do it often because I'm socially awkward on the internet xD

Regardless, just wanted to say hi and let you guys know that a lot of Jokermance supporters only lurk the thread, so... yeah. We're a bigger army than people give us credit for.

I know morale is down right now and I share your pain. However, I say we shouldn't give up until they actually knock us down. I mean, Joker didn't give up without a fight whenever things weren't going his way, and neither should we!

@Wynne... I wasn't on this thread for some time, and just today, I saw that gif.... And my first reaction was: "Wait?! WHAT?! ARE YOU F***** KIDDING ME?!?!?!".
I've pre-ordered ME3 on eBay (CE UK ver.) for 100£ and that's alot for me! I will not cancel it though...
I hope, and ask those of you, that are from US and will get this game on 6'th March (I'm from Europe so it's 9'th for me), PLEASE PM ME if this information is genuine, so I will just not go to cockpit or even near it... Even if I liked 6 from BSG, I just can't stand this outcome. I think, I couldn't bare to see it... I would crack in the process.... ;/
I really think that, this THING, is an affront to people with disability, like all they can get is romance with their lappy or something, and not with the real person. (and here all I can think of, is one of us who have a husband with OI, and I don't think she is an AI ;P)...
So I'm very disappointed by THIS, I thought, that BioWare could do better than make the most memorable (at least for me) character, as an freaking clown, that want to bang a pile of wires and procesors...
My mood and enthusiasm for ME3 was totaly ruined by THAT! (Yey for fan rage )

I've didn't met anyone who would like or want EDIxJoker-mance, and I was talking about it with many people...

I thought I'd lurking and share my thoughts about EDIxJoker...

I firmly believe, that it's not happening. EDI gets a body okey, but that's it. Some jokes are thrown but that's it. No romance or anything related.
There's pretty much no one that would want to see EDI and Joker together. If Bioware would do so, they'd be pissing off lot of people and it wouldn't be good for them in any way.
The leaked script was old, really old. They've most likely re-written most of it and to have it leaked, I'd say they almost expected it. It's really weird that something so big would go out public. So I'm just here to say to have faith in Bioware. This is the end and I'm pretty sure they don't want to screw it.

hey i take exception to that, i am thoroughly disgusted by what I've seen in the spoilers and i wanted joker for almost all of my femsheps, and i am not a female, heck i even usually end up playing as femshep, but that is neither here nor there. granted i don't mind a little fan service now and again, but only if it  isn't morally repugnant and doesn't completely disregard a character's established mannerisms. the mere thought of edi/joker makes me sick and very angry. anyways i would hope my fellow male gamers are smart enough to recognize the underlying implications as you admirable ladies have.

Even though they're not females, I honestly doubt anyone would be completely okey with the idea of EDIxJoker. Especially if it involves something sexual.

They've known since the first game that people have wanted to romance Joker. I doubt they would go so far to enable that possibilty and put him to romance an AI instead.

Well we'll see in March i guess, but edi x joker supporters are out there. Especially on facebook and twitter from what i've observed, its either that or they're all collectively trying to wind up those wanting Shoker.

I just think, that BioWare guys don't want to see the perspective of female players, becouse they think (especially now, when they are with EA), that game like ME was made for males, becouse you shoot things with the gun... You know "manly" mans ;P

The whole thing is just so frustrating to me! People have wanted Joker as a LI since the first. friggin. GAME! EDI didn't even exist til the 2nd! Plus I firmly believe that people who are "pro" Joker/EDI don't care at all they just think it's "cute" and like fantasizing about Tricia Helfer.

I doubt the content will be cut out of the final, based on the "cute" pictures we've seen with Seth Green and Tricia laughing together during recording.   I thought the pictures were cute when I first saw them but now they kind of make me sick. I will lose a lot of respect for Bioware if we're not at least able to stop the romance from happening. I'll still lose some respect because if there's no Joker/Shep and just Joker/EDI then Bioware has ignored a rather large fanbase who actually care in favor of people who said Joker/EDI would be "funny" or "cute".

Ugh. Fan rage is ragey.

Though I mostly hang in the Kaidan thread, just came in to show my support. I always had hopes for a ME3 Jokermance for one of my Sheps. Reading Joker/EDI bits floating around the interwebz yesterday made me feel physically ill. It's so wrong, I don't even know how to express it...
