His eyes were the pale green in ME2 - I love that colour. With the new lighting, they look greyish.

According to the trailer, Joker said EDI "installed" herself. I'm thinking she was...erased from the Normandy because she is an AI, but after Shepard was reinstated, she...came back?

EDI: I'm right here, Jeff.
Joker: Yes you are, EDI. Yes you are.

Seems to me that EDI is trying to be more human. And Joker, just by that one line, is trying to teach her?

I don't know if I like that. My trust in her just went way down. I think she's going to go rogue...


BUT JOKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He stood up to salute Shepard, how awesome is that?

And we got a glimpse of FemShep! XD

I think most of us are taking BioWare with a grain of salt at this point.

Hopefully Deception was an isolated incident, victim of poor oversight. I think this is actually very likely, given that Dietz has previously written video game tie-in novels and that all the other writers were in the process of working on major projects. (If not ME, then SWTOR)

I'm pretty sure Joker's eyes are playing tricks on us because of the lighting. Though, in the screenie they look hazel...but the pic does have a very amber tint to it.

His eyes are still the pretty pale green, it's just the lighting. *nod nod* I can't tell you how much I love my pale blue eyes, but when I go anywhere with odd lighting, people say I have grey eyes.

Of course, my eyes tend to change colour, so I suppose my argument is invalid. XD

Yeah, I just watched the trailer and paused it on his closeup. I think they are green but have more blue in them than before. The whole EDI thing makes me nervous though.

Today it seems is a day of uncertainty for me, lol. I'll get over it though.

I normally start with pics that are 720x720 (I usually use HD videos) and then scale it down to whatever I need from there. And I use Gimp. I've become a semi-master of making .gifs with Gimp (sometimes I still have problems with the quality)!

But...EDI and Joker are buddies! Like Shep and Legion! (Depending on your Shep - mine thought Legion was awesome, if baffling) Buddies can hang out and do buddy things. Like...pilot spacecraft and annoy giant ancient sentient warships! Together!

Don't mind me, I just like their "platonic symbiosis" or whatever EDI called it in ME2. And I'll bet that's easier to do when they record together. I support Joker-EDI friendship. I support Joker-Shepard romantic relationship.

That's what it sounds like. Although how she managed that I havn't quite figured out. Maybe Legion helped by allowing a transfer to a geth platform and then when the new Normandy was linked in to a comm bouy or something and she found out Shepard was back she re-transferred herself back in?

Tired, probably so. I imagine ushering the guy/gal trying to save the galaxy from certain destruction (aka angry Reapers) could get pretty tiring. Darker probably has to do with the lighting.

He hasn't! Mainly for that reason. IT'S SO AWESOME.

But when Joker unshackled EDI during the whole Collecter-Normandy-invasion fiasco, didn't she sort of end up with free will? So if the Illusive Man had said "EDI come here do this" she had the option to say "Up yours Timmy, I work with these guys now?"

I guess we'll have to wait and see. By which I mean speculate wildly. Or read spoilers and keep them to ourselves (please).

In response to Joker's eyes - they were a really pale green in ME2 so I'm going to jump on the bandwagon and blame the lighting. But I also think his face looks rounder? Or different in some other way which I'm not entirely certain of? Maybe it's just the angle.

Sorry, didn't specify. That is kinda what I meant. Theoretically, the Illusive Man may still have her software stored somewhere because she'll have to "travel" from point A to point B (like the uplink Shepard installed on the Collector ship), but EDI has the free will to install herself on the Normandy if she so chose.

The point is, Joker unshackled an AI, and with her suddenly in the Normandy...Joker's a tool.

XD This is all speculation, of course!
