Saw that in the Vega thread as well. I hope that by "options," he doesn't just mean giving Kaidan or Garrus another shot.

This is still good news. It would be better if we'll have new options regardless of romancing someone before. 
But now I don't know which Shepard I should play ME3 first. I think I will be playing single fShep first with hope that there's Joker romance somwhere.

There are quite a few good different fanfic's out there with Joker =)

So, we are getting pretty close to the point of no return. When we finally will know for sure if we can get the pilot or not... I know, scary stuff, right.

Anyone out here who will try to romance Joker right from the start with their first FemShep? I thought about it but I have a tradition of playing one specific FemShep blind for the first PT in every ME-game. Always end up doing lots of interesting and stupid choices with her, poor dear, but it made for a interesting game to take over to Nr 3. So I just have to play her first. So that means.... someone else will get the scoop on Joker and I will probably get the info from our thread.

I do the same thing!  I have a feeling my poor Madison Shepard isn't going to get the best ending possible in ME3. Lol.

Afterwards, I spoil myself silly so that I can get the perfect endings for my canon Sheps.

Although, I'm in Europe, so I'll be getting the game three days later. Maybe someone from the US will confirm before I get to play.

Lol, poor Bel will be my Subject Zero, as I've said. I'm going to throw her in the mess to see what happens - taking notes along the way. I'm going to be playing this game with no sleep just to find out if there is a Jokermance. THEN I'll sleep. XD

As soon as I find out the situation, I'll shoot y'all a message.

That is, if someone doesn't beat me to the punch. XD

I'll be doing what I always do. A blind run with Kara the Infiltrator (I need my sniping fix) and then once I know the story she gets a new game plus and a happy ending. Then John (Vanguard), then Eponine (Sentinel), then Damon (Engineer). What happens next depends on if Joker is an option. If he is then MacKenzie (Adept). If he's not then I'll skip over to Anakoli (Soldier) and Mac will go last. I really don't want Mac to be forever alone. She's a fun girl. She deserves some love. And Joker is the guy for her.

Edit: Giving it some thought (and having read A Star to Steer Her By) I realized that man, this isn't just about Mac. This is about Joker too, and what he deserves. And if half of the crew which the player interacts with on a regular basis is able to start a romace with Shepard, why doesn't he deserve a shot too? Various other people have said it better than I but it boils down to: People with OI lead mostly normal lives. Having friends/relationship is part of a normal life. Shepard and Joker are friends. Friends can find themselves falling for each other/ in a relationship with each other. It's realistic for Joker to be an option. Clearly, quite a few people support the idea, finding the green-eyed snarker incredibly attractive as a person, not despite his OI, but including it because while it doesn't define him, it is part of Joker as a whole.

Just been playing my newest ME1 runthrough with Evangeline Shepard and I really listened to Joker, the handful of times you talk to him he seems to really care. And some of the little looks Shep has when she talks to him...

Maybe I'm reading too much into it because I want the romance so badly, but I definitely feel the vibe between them with this Shepard, even if she is romancing Kaidan.
