Nice. I like the idea of Joker helping Shepard to loosen up. I have a femShep called Sai who's a colonist/ruthless. She's a renegade (mostly), and pretty rude/hostile to everyone. Joker usually seems to laugh off her bad attitude and counter it with humour (especially in ME2), which I love.

He's the only one who can handle her.

Sounds exactly like mine, except...well, that particular Shepard is male. What can I say, he's bi. He's a Colonist/Ruthless Vanguard, so he pretty much bites people's heads off when he's bored. He romanced Ash in ME1 but ended up leaving her on Virmire, which then opened him up to start spending more time with with Joker, especially since he's the first of the SR1 crew to come back after Shepard's brought back.

I also have a femShep in the works (who's going to be a paragon, possibly paragade) but for now, my male Shepard is my main one.

Here's to hoping Joker is also bi, or else I would have wasted a good forty-something hours of my life orchestrating something that won't happen...

Recently created Lillian 'Lil' Shepard for a no-romance run through in case Joker becomes an LI and if he doesn't to see what happens if she never gets an LI. She's a Earthborn/War Hero/Infiltrator (the classic poor kid no-one thought would amount to much does good cliche'). She's a tough gal with a soft heart that she built a thick wall around (getting dumped by parents and growing up on streets will do that). Joker is slowly chipping away at that wall.

Planning on Paragon, but with touch of Renegade 'humor.'

I'm curious, those of you who created a Shep for a Joker romance, what is s/he like?

My Colonist/War Hero was thrown into the hero job. She just did what she thought anyone else would do - which shows how idealistic she is. She fell for Kaidan since he was her "dream guy", but Joker has always been the one to make her laugh nomatter what. After Jude died and realized the Council has done nothing to help humans, she drew herself up and took on her commander role much more seriously. Meeting Kaidan on Horizon only made her realize that he was not the man for her anymore, and she spent the rest of ME2 getting over him. She is racist towards Batarians. Jude has become more down to earth, if a little emotional at times, and cares for her friends and crew very much even if she doesn't show it with her sarcasm. She is also a bit of a control freak, so if something goes wrong she panicks. Side note: Her parents were Beatles fans, and their obsession passed on to her. It's hard to find The Beatles out in space, though. :crying:

As for Annabel - or Bel for short - she is my Spacer/Ruthless Shepard. Her parents always taught her to stay in control, and to never let an emotion influence her orders. On Torfan, Bel lost sight of her morals and the objective of the mission - a choice she deeply regrets. She takes her job very seriously, and is almost never seen drinking or letting loose in general. However, within minutes of talking to Joker she is dissolved into giggles, and they have formed a close friendship. She is very fond of Garrus and tries to keep him from making the same mistakes she has. Bel is strict with regulations, and never considered a relationship with Kaidan. Hopefully in ME3 there will be a Joker romance, and Bel will realize that a guy who can make her smile and loosen up is the right guy for her. She is afraid of losing control of her emotions, and love is a risk she isn't sure she she could take.

Er, sorry for that book up there. I put a lot of thought into my characters. A writer's curse. XD

BTW I love the slew of Joker art we're getting! Sorrel...you Jeff'd indeed. *noms on Joker* XD

I didn't make him originally for Joker...but JOker would be the one he'd romance if it was possible.

Leon's a nice guy. Typical hero archetype willing to throw himself in harms way for other people. Likes being depended on. Way too nice and kind.

He also has some attachement issues due to his background [colonist] and tries not to get too strongly attached to anyone because he's very aware that you can lose anything in am moment. [sole survivor]. Yet despite that Chakwas and Joker and the rest of the crew have grown on him like a fungus and he can't detach himself. He knew he should've left Joker and headed for the escape pods but he couldn't deal with losing other people (Virmire tore him up).

Skylar is the daughter of two Navy officers, and has been taught to always be fair, but tough where need be. After enlistment and officer's academy, she trained to be a fighter pilot and served on a carrier for about a year before she crash-landed on a moon that was inhabited by Batarian slavers. After a month of playing cat-and-mouse with the batarians with nothing but her pistol to protect her, she was rescued and encouraged by an impressed Anderson to become Special Forces. Since she joined the military to follow in her parents' footsteps and, more importantly, to make a difference, she turned in her wings the next day. She trained as an Infiltrator and completed N5 training just before the Blitz.

Her renegade/gon alter-ego is Scarlett, an Earth-born kid that ran with the gangs in Denver after being taken anonymously to an orphanage. She has no idea who her parents were, but suspects they were military, so she joins the Alliance to try and find her way in life. Scarlett's talent for combat enabled her to be posted under the best officers, including Anderson, and he took her under his wing after Akuze. She blames herself for her squad's demise, and the experience caused her to take a no-bull attitude towards her command. She's very down to earth, but Joker always has been able to make her crack a smile.

Yeah, I tend to do the same. Gotta love being a hobbyist writer! Lol.

Your spacer/ruthless Shepard is somewhat like mine in that Joker makes her laugh (but she would never admit to him that he's one of the few people able to do so... yet). Kaidan kind of sailed under her radar in terms of attractiveness (Too rigid; typical military men bore her. A lot of this is rooted in her upbringing). Though neutral on her opinion of Jacob at first, she nonetheless saw him as a valued ally near the end of the mission... and that's about it. Still too rigid and soldierlike (his unwillingness to open up about his Dad didn't help much at all). But Joker is just different. I think it's his humor and resilience towards his condition she admires most about him. Hopefully, these two can form a deeper relationship in the next game.

Yes, yes, and yes again. XD

Lol, pretty much! I'd love to continue my Literature/Creative Writing degree someday soon...when there is money in my bank account. XD

Kaidan and Jacob are good allies, I have no doubt about that. They don't let anything get in their way when it comes to their work. However, Kaidan isn't willing to trust you, and Jacob doesn't open up at ALL even when y'all get together. It is nice to rant to him, but he doesn't return the privilage. Garrus' romance is really sweet, but it felt like a fling in ME2 - I hope BioWare gives you a chance to make it otherwise in ME3. Thane seemed to want to replace his wife - and moving in on a guy still stuck on his wife is wrong to me. Joker now...when Joker sees that you are upset about Kaidan, he in not so many words says he's there for you, and that's a nice change.

Joker has always been there, and he stepped up as soon as Shepard was revived. She/He needed that - a friend amongst enemies.

I still can't imagine how Joker felt when Cerberus told him they were rebuilding Shepard...and everything else Joker had to go through? Damn. *crosses fingers for ME3*

Just dropping in to support some Shoker romance. Kaidan may have gotten to my Shep first, but that's what multiple playthroughs are for. ;)

Edit: Joker will always be my canon Shep's good buddy. He was always there for her, and even though he got her spaced that one time, she forgives him because he is awesome.

I would love nothing more than to romance Joker. It would honestly make me want to play ME3 even more than I do now (if that's even possible). I've always loved Jeff, so come on, BioWare! (:

I think it's because of the hacker EA/BioWare had recently. They sent an email. All you had to do was change your password, and then the site name for your profile on EA. :)

Guys, guys, I had a dream about Joker last night! Something happened, and he was panicked, so I tried to calm him down (I assume I was Shepard). Then he looks at me and says something like: "If I lost you again..."

And then Garrus popped in alerting me to an attack.<_< If there ever was a time I hated that turian, that would be the only one. :P

Just a suggestion here, but consider changing the thread title to '"We were your team, Commander." Joker ME3 Fan Thread. I loved that line!

Plus not all Joker fans are chicks who want their Shep to bone him :X

Reminds me of the one I had where Bioware pretty much said "We're not telling you the LIs, you'll have to find out in the game yourself LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL". That was just mean D:

Wha- That's like... okay, if that happens in ME3, I sincerely hope that my Femshep can react with the following:

Oh, yeah. I went there. And yes; red eyes, fangs, paper skin, malicious voice, the works...

PS: Sorry in advance, Ryzaki. Lol

And I'm with you on the Mass Effect 3 dreams. We're still 254 days from release and my brain isn't helping matters at all. It's like when you're a kid excited about Christmas or a movie. It's in your mind constantly, you have a dream about it, then you wake up upset that it wasn't real!!! DX

@Omega Torsk, the one time he finally stops doing calibrations, and it's to do something even *more* annoying!

@Most Definitely Sane, I like the way you think.

I'm really glad they're giving the squad members more than breaking their thumbs, calibrations and engine cleaning every time I talk to them D:

Also, since I've been making my new 360 console re-runthrough of ME2, I've been having difficulty. Every now and then when I use my sniper rifle, my controller disconnects...It's not making me a happy person x-x

@Ryzaki: Noooo I love Garrus! Absolutely love him - just not in that dream where he INTERRUPTED A VERY CRUCIAL MOMENT.

http://meta.filesmel...wightscream.gif

@Omega Torsk: Yes, that is the state of my mind right now...dreaming about the game, thinking it's real...then waking up and discovering the horrible, horrible truth.

As for how much longer we have to wait, I just tell myself to at least be grateful BioWare is taking their time on the game.

...

Is it March yet?
