I understand you are upset, and that many of you wanted to romance Joker since ME1, but ruining his relationship with EDI is just heartless. I mean I understand it may look weird ingame, BUT I have never seen Joker so happy. Especially their date dialogues. You can hear it.
And when I told him it was a bad idea, just out of curiousity... he was so sad(
Seriously, I can understand you wanted your FemSheps to be the one to make Jeff happy, but I think he deserves some happiness anyway, no? Given that this is the end of the world and stuff

It didn't seem weird to me at all, but I guess my Shepard does not see AIs as lesser beings, just different. When both seemed interested in pursuing a relationship that seemed obvious to him for awhile he supported it, because he trusted and liked EDI and Joker.

I can see how it could suck to push someone you want towards someone else, but if that is what they want...

However, I will romance between the Joker and EDI do not take. But it is also true that this romance would like many people already from ME1. They waited, waited, waited, and waited. Now we have the last part of Mass Effect and still nothing. I think that the Joker's fans deserve. Because they remained faithful to their ideas of romance between the Joker and Femele / Male Shepard.

Out of the two times I've played that scene, and two times I've been rejected (because obviously my Sheps don't take a hint ), I've followed up by supporting Joker and happiness both times. Of course when Kaidan, the LI I ended up going with, started making comments on EDI's body I tried figuring out how to get her out an airlock .

I never even wanted a Joker romance and I still didn't like him with EDI. It just happened too fast, I think. She acted like his mother throughout all of ME2 but then suddenly in ME3 she gets a hot robot body and now he wants her? Errrgh.

Beating a dead horse here, but you need to either ask permission to use that picture or remove it. That was a gift for someone on dA, and she's very upset about your using it without asking her. Or the actual artist.

Eh, I guess I see it differently, many relationships, romantic ones, form from closeness... often from friction.  There is initial friction... then understanding and by the end mutual respect in ME2... given the time they spent between ME2 and ME3 and what Joker did for EDI to keep her from being discovered, I think that respect evolved into a genuine appreciation of each other.

Giving her a hot robot body just allowed that relationship to become more than it was.

I was a Jokermance hopeful but in the end, I supported him and Edi because it made him happy. Thankfully, it also turned me off on the whole idea of romancing him (I guess my Shep doesn't take rejection well xD) and have since focused my frustrations on Vega not being an LI. My FemShep pined after him for years and he admits he never even considered it?

Same here. Seeing those almond-shaped hazel eyes were enough to set me almost purely on the "I want to jump Vega!" path.

Still, Joker was an almost perfect LI for fremShep. Half the work had already been done for them in ME and ME2. What turned Bioware off the path!?
