I am NOT asking why: Joker+EDI=<3
I'm asking why there is: Joker+Shep=/=<3 in other words: Why is there no Joker/Shep romance?

I just thought (as I wrote earlier) they'll be like Fenris and Isabella in DA2 = end up together only if the main character is not romancing either of them.

Besides: he didn't hate her. He didn't like her at the start but they were friends in the end.

They had a mother-son relationship in ME2 I thought. I would support EDI + Legion but I'll never support Joker with her. I got all excited when I got to show him I was interested. I'm glad they included that dialogue option at least...even if it didn't turn out as I'd hoped.

I know. I wrote:" Also, I wonder why." Like me wondering, why there romance between the Joker and Edi not.
And the rest is  explanation of what the Joker did in ME2. But somehow I missed what he was doing now in ME3.

Just wanted to give my condolences. It's sad seeing folks not get the romance they wanted.

I definitely think Joker is a cool dude. Would have romanced him on another Shepard if that had been possible (my canon's with Garrus like 96% of the rest of FemShep Nation, it seems like.  )

Anyone else here play DA2? And if so, anyone else get a Varric-Bianca vibe from the way this deal with Joker-EDI went down? I mean, had the crossbow actually been capable of walking around and talking, that is?

I...am actually quite disappointed. I was going to start my FemShep save on ME3 before I saw this thread again. No Joker romance...I mean, I know the ending and all, but come on...

My FemShep is going to cry. In a corner. Because she's gone three years without getting laid. For Joker. And now he'll inevitably turn her down.

Just out of curiosity, am I the only one pissed off by the fact that we can't tell Joker about the fate of his family?

If you listen to the everything the Asari suffering from PTSD in Huerta Hospital says she mentions that she was stationed on Tiptree and she was staying with a human family on a farm. Most of the family were killed when another huntress on her team was turned into a Banshee, but she escaped with a girl called Hillary, which I’m assuming is the same Hillary Joker mentions. She returns to the farmhouse to retrieve her weapons and supplies and gets attacked by husks and the remaining people who’ve been indoctrinated. Somehow in the process Hillary breaks her leg and can’t stop crying so to remain hidden from the husks it’s implied the Asari kills the girl.

I seem to recall in ME2, teasing Joker about flirting with the ship. EDI explains how it is a symbiotic relationship, not hormonal induced courtship behaviour. Joker says that he thinks the idea of that is creepy... Am I the only one who sees contradiction here...?

The line he says "There's no rule about dating a ship's AI, i looked into it."
Is that not because having the AI in the first place is supposed to be illegal...? I may be missing something on that one, but ehh... The whole concept is stupid.

I agree, it's stupid, but what we can do? I don't think that they'll add Joker romance now. In fact, just look what they do with ending. I'm not expecting much in this situation.

Anyways. Like the rest of you, I was shocked and appalled when EDI came struttin' out. I just knew...I KNEW Jokermance wouldn't happen. It still didn't stop me from asking Joker, but my poor Bel gets that pathetic excuse. Come on BioWare, you didn't just drop the ball on the endings, but on a potential romance as well.
