@ArcanaLegacy: Oh...I've seen what goes on in the Garrus Threads. WHEWWW BOY. My kind of people. You should have seen some of the stuff in the Anders Thread...oh sweet baby Jesus I was in hysterics. I have some of the doodles saved from the people who drew whatever caught our fancy at the time. Like...Andersella (Anders as Cinderella), or Anderselda (Anders as Esmerelda).


Still trying to edit stuff for the Joker Romance Case. It still sounds too mean.

Oh Joker is alright, thanks for asking, but you should ask yourself what is wrong with you?

Have you not noticed that Joker can walk without crutches in ME2 and even after a deep fall on the ground after the collectors take the crew he isn't injured? 

Don't you think that Shepard can be gentle and would be careful? We wouldn't expect a "rodeo ride" in the romance scene if you understand what I mean...

You know that there are in real life people with this illness? They have a normal love life too.

Besides - if you love someone and care for this person that doesn't necessarily mean that you must have sex too.

But we are creative enough to imagine some positions that won't be a problem at all... *ahem*

I'd suggest a slight modification of the thread title, so we can attract even regular fans, not just romance freaks XD

Personally, I'm curious how Joker is going to look in-game. I hope they'll feed us with some pictures any time soon or I'll die of visual deprivation, I swear. Fans of Ashley, Kaidan, Liara and hell even Garrus have already seen their favourite characters whereas we got nothing. Maybe they could reveal something during that Comic Con. Please, BioWare, just a small screenie!

Yes but I would leave the word romance in it so that people are not surprised or disturbed that a Jokermance is our main topic...

I don't think that they changed his appearance much - it seems that only Kaidan and Ashley got a new look which makes sense because Shep hasn't seen them for a while.

Honestly, they may tease a little more but I expect them to reveal the Jokermance only if the player finds out during playing ME3. Casey told several times in the E3 interviews and twitter that they won't spoiler on the LIs and would like to keep it a secret until ME3 comes out.

Maybe they teased us so much to give us at least a little hope or it was by accident and now they are silent because they fear they have already revealed to much  or my mind is just going crazy and it is time for me to go to bed.....

Honestly though, can people at least read the first fricken post of this thread before they comment? Then you won't have to worry about making the same statements as about 50 other people who just commented without looking.  It gets old people!

Joker will probably look the same in ME3, but that's just fine. I like my pilot the way he is! I wanna have little pilot babies with him! (Speaking of which, is Shepard sterile now? I mean Miranda is and Shepard probably had a lot more modifications.)

@RynJ : Exactly. It really does get quite tiresome. And it shocks me to believe how some ppl cant see pass his illness. Like ifs THAT is what's stopping them. "Oh we'll break Joker." - no. If people can believe and absolutely adore the Garrus and Tali romances, which are of different species all together and heck - Tali can die if not even remotely careful - then Joker can easily be romanceable! Love can find a way to make things work.
And I dislike how everyone things he's so extremely fragile. He did [very likely according to online sources] get work done on his legs by cerberus so he can walk abit better on his own. Sure not perfect - but still. If Joker and Shep really care for each other - they'll be careful. A silly illness shouldnt stop them from actually being together if they really want to - which in our case and wishful thinking - is a big deal and they should be together.

Ohh.... I think that ReallyRue's suggestion of "Joker fan & romance Thread" was pretty good. It short and to the point, we better keep romance in the title because it tends to come up a bit =) do you guys want to change the title from "Joker romance in ME3" to "Joker fan & romance Thread"?

Ahhh gawd... really really hope that I won't have to play though entire ME3 to figure out if Joker is available. That will be one little sad Shep if it turns out that he isn't .... they live on our tears but hope they let us know something in advance... pretty please.

And a pic.... how difficult can it be =) The only thing we have seen so far is his piloting skills, he was piloting Normandy when they came and picked up Shep in the beginning of ME3 demo, right? Let's hope for a nice pic sometime soon.. -ish.

You'll soon get used to the naysayers, and soon learn to ignore them, which is the best thing. Thats what we did in the ME2 thread and we only ended up with anti comments once in a blue moon. But then fangirls are to be feared.

All of these screenshots are making me so jealous! Now that I have a computer that's powerful enough to run ME1 and ME2 on full video settings, I've been strongly considering getting the ME saga for PC so that I may contribute some of my own! A little on the fence about it since I'll basically have to start over (in addition to re-purchasing the games, all of my saves and DLCs are on X-Box), I've already pre-ordered the ME3 CE for X-Box, and I'm still waiting for the devs to reveal the system reqs for ME3. *crosses fingers that the Steam summer sale will include ME at some point*

The controversy of a Joker Romance has the same, well, force. Information and people are sucked in, but you never get them back. Once someone supports a Joker Romance, there is no convincing them otherwise. We're as stubborn as the Illusive Man once we have our eyes (which are normal) on something we want. There is no Plan B, only Plan A. However, Plan A has this habit of...well...disappearing. We rewrite it over and over again, and yet nobody can find the new copy after a troll stops by. It just doesn't make any sense…wait....oohhh.

Here is where the other part of the "black hole" metaphor comes in. We have explained our stance hundreds of times, but it goes in one black hole and out the other. Information is simply lost - as is a Joker fan's sanity after dismembering the EDI/Joker *Turian air quotes* "relationship" hundreds of times. No matter how many times we explain our stance for a Joker Romance, trolls come by with some great original quip they think will disprove our desire for this development.

I get carried away with my sarcasm, as you can tell.
