Hmmm... does anyone here know how many hrs Seth Green recorded for ME2. There is a lot more of Joker in ME2 than in ME, hmmm, I'm wondering how the amount of Joker compares to the 12 hrs that will be in ME3. Hopefully there will be a little more in ME3 because that will let me keep my hopes up   =)

Ohh... worth mentioning again. The OP on the first page is slowly being updated to the awesome one on page 49 written by phantomdragoness. If you lurk this thread every now an then it's worth taking a look at it. Soon you will see it in all it's glory in the OP on the first page

so...do u want to romance Joker, or is romancing Joker a way for you to romance Seth green? it seems to me the majority see them as one and the same. If Joker was the same character but voiced by someone else, would you still romance him?

It's hard to imagine Joker with anyone else's voice, but if he was the same character we all know and love, then Joker all the way! Mr. Green is awesome, but we all know he is married and no one has a chance with him.

Seth Green voicing him is a great bonus and I can't see anyone else doing his voice anymore but ultimately it's the writers who made Joker great. If he had a different VA he'd still be awesome.

Didn't know who Seth Green was before I looked up Joker's VO. But I did recognize him as Dr Evil's son     =)    never watched Buffy. Followed him on Twitter for 2 day then I skipped him since he doesn't tweet about the game. Well, it's understandable, ME3 isn't really his dayjob. Twitter is my ME3-latest-info-thing. Just waiting for the day when patsquinade let some good spoiler slip by    =)

I first played with german synchronisation and later decided to try the english version. I really like most of the german voices, especially the german voice of Joker but the english ones are even better.

For those that are curious, here a video of the "Joker mission" on german: link

I only got to know something more about Seth Green when I started to stalk the ME2 Joker thread. I did not know robot chicken before that and did not watch buffy - but later I recognized Seth in the Austin Power movies when I read that he played Dr. Evils son.

So no - I don't like Joker because of Seth Green although he does a very good job as voice actor. Joker is a great character even in ME1 where he had sadly only a few lines.

I already knew about Seth Green before Mass Effect cause I was a massive Buffy fan and was beyond excited when I realised Joker was Oz:O

I didn't recognise it straight away when I first started playing ME1 and I'm one of those people that when I recognise a voice but can't place a name it drives me bonkers (get that alot with the anime I and hubby watch) I had to look it up and I was pretty surprised but also thrilled.

Thanks for posting the link with ME2 in german   =)   I much prefer it in english but it's interesting to hear how it sounds in different versions. Hmm... EDI was good but I must say that I prefers Seth Greens voice for Joker      

edit: Meh... Hubby and I was finally going to order some t-shirts and a Joker cap for me and pretty much all the shirts we wanted were out of stock... *grumbles*. I wanted the N7 tank top for ladies and a Joker cap. Hope they still have the hat in stock when they get the shirts back...

I knew it was Seth too, but it didn't make me like Joker any more than I already did. The way the writers made Jokers character seem just made it for me. I always go for the snarky/humorous guys since I tend to be the same way. >_>

Same here. I knew of Seth Green before Joker because he voices Chris on Family Guy, and I've been watching that show practically since it first debuted. But I mean, he doesn't use his normal voice for Chris like he does for Joker, so that's why it took a while to click.

So like most people have said, I do not like Joker simply because of Seth Green, but I can't imagine Joker ever being voiced by anyone else.

German EDI, wow, I love the va's take on her character. The english version seemed more human, this seems to be more sentient-machine.

I liked the character before I realised who the voice acter was.
