Does it say in these tweets that Joker will be an LI? No. BioWare doesn't hand out information like a Hanar preaching his religion. Joker fans look for simple clues to support our theory and hope for a Joker-mance. Nevertheless, we know for certain Mr. Hudson is teasing Joker fans with this possibility. We can only hope it turns out in our favor.

Weird dream time!

I dreamed I was going to Hogwarts, and I was minding my own jolly business stalking Snape when all the sudden...Joker blows my cover and Snape gives us both detention. Thanks, Joker hun. Love you too. <_<

All my dreams about Joker seem to involve him getting me into trouble. Or ticking me off with his endless poking. NOT THAT KIND OF POKING YOU PERVS. God.

Hmmm.... sorry if I'm a bit of a rain cloud here =) I went total fan-girl at that point. But it's because I choose to read it the way I want to. Not really sure I want someone who might be new to the thread to read the OP and get the wrong ideas. To think that it might mean more than it does. Nr 1, Nr 6 and the rest is more directly concerned with our hopes for a Joker romance. Hmmm... it would feel a little bit better if the second tweet had been something like " Tomorrow, writing more for awesome Seth Green as everyone's favorite cap-wearing pilot while listening to Bryan Adams everything I do I do it for you". What do you guys think, the OP belong to all of us, I might just be overly cautious =)

No I'm the same way - cautious.

I mean last time, they picked two aliens over a Joker romance. I wouldn't be surprised if they overlooked him again. I mean, they even threw out that little dialogue for him in ME2...blahblahblah..."that's why I don't date crew members". Talk about a kick in the stomach. Hope's not lost though, but I'm not getting my hopes up too high.

You do realize that he was hoping for a romantic scene between himself and Edi's voice actor right?   I don't want to be a buzz kill or nothing,  but,  you probably shouldn't assume victory just yet.

Well, to be honest, we're all kind of reading these tweets the way we want to.
These are just possible hints that give us a tiny squeak of hope, not "confirmations."

@Omega Torsk, I think that AngelicMachinery was refering to the interview with Seth Green where he said (not the exact wording) that he's wanted to get a screentime with Tricia Helfer and that he's disappointed that their first coupling is in the video game, where she's a disembodied voice and he's a guy with britle bones. However, he's clearly refering to Mrs. Helfer, not to EDI. I've never heard what's the stance of Patrick Weekes on the matter.

Plus, image the nerd-rage of this thread, if BioWare really implemented cannonical EDI/Joker pairing. I'm lead to believe that not only us, Joker-lusters, but also many other fans would find it a bit tacky.

I'm trying not to be overly possitive, but I'd dare to assume that chances for Jokermance are higher than ever. If we didn't get it, I'd shed a girly tear and take it out on the Reapers.

Alright, now at first one may assume that Seth Green supports an EDImance, but notice how his remark seems somewhat sarcastic. "Joker's only romance is with the computer? Thanks, dude!"
He wants more screentime with Tricia Helfer, but acknowledges that their acquaintanceship is limited by her being a disembodied voice and him being a guy with brittle bones. Obviously, Seth Green wants more screen time with Tricia Helfer, but that doesn't really mean he wants it in the Mass Effect universe. Coupling Seth Green's sarcastic comment with Patrick's tweet means several possible things: Seth Green wants a romance with someone (who knows? Maybe Seth Green is a fellow Shokerite!) or he truly wants a romance with Helfer's character in this game... because of my personal bias, I'm swaying towards the former, but I shall remain skeptical.

*sigh* Just look at me! I'm Mickey-Mousing a paragraph-long argument based on a tweet, a buzzkill, and two quotes from an interview with Seth Green in order to support a Jokermance! I warned you to not allow my inner fanboy to manifest itself a couple days ago! Now there's almost no going back for me! Must... retain... skepticism (with a hint of optimism)... now!

Sorry about that. Didn't mean to make it seem like I misinterpreted your post. My brain, being a scrambled mess after Transformers 3, put the pieces together incorrectly and assumed since Seth Green wants more screen time with Tricia Helfer, he's an EDImancer. However, I edited my post since then and included the interview and twisted it in a way that could probably give us hope for a Shokermance!

And I know you're on my side and of course we can be friends! I never saw it otherwise!

Whoo first post for me! I've been lurking for a while (Like since the 30th page >_>) But I think these past few hours has sent my inner fangirl squeeling for sure.

As for the whole 'buzz kill' hmm I don't know. Seth Green had that interview almost two years ago. So it might not even be a "major" request, unless he recently brought it up with them. I'm trying to be optimistic while still being cautious. But I feel bad for trying to dissect every tweet and interview for hidden meaning. Heck, Patrick could have meant "major request" as in Joker getting up and doing a little dance. Cause everyone would want to see that lol
