Just finished playing the bit in ME2 where Joker has to unshackle EDI.

Shepard has a dialouge, something along the lines of 'You're flirting with the ship Joker'

EDI replies with, what we have is more of a platonic symbiosis, rather then a courting relationship.'

Can't remember what Joker says but even EDI agrees with us :P

Edit for top of the page Joker:

(Had to add the second one because I always lol at Joker's robot impression)

Yup, me too. I think the best part is how there are friends sleeping on the couch behind him (can totally relate! Lol).

Omega...*snorts*...I do love your use of gifs and pictures. I <3 happy Squidward. XD

I get so so hyper when I have a new game. Luckily I have a understanding husband who let's me play a new game through in a couple of evenings before he starts with it. I'm pretty useless until I get it out of my system. Then when I'm done with the first PT in a complete frenzy he gets the game computer and lazily plays it through in a month or so. I'm the game-nerd in our marrige which amuses our friends to no end   =)    I make up for getting to play the game first with some awesome dinners the week after I'm done.

Just did Arrival for the first time last evening. Was I wrong in not hearing Joker when Normandy shows up in the last minute. Did I misshear or what happened? My spontaneous reaction was pretty much "Just who are you? Where's my Joker". Fun also when FemShep tried to get in contact with Normandy and it didn't work, you get used to Joker getting one out of trouble so you sort of are taken by surprise when it doesn't work. Oki, she just couldn't get in contact with the Normandy but still.

No you dont hear joker in Arrival :-(!!! The first time I played it i hated it 'WTF, they cant put Shep on trial' the more I played it and heard about ME3 I rather enjoy it now.

Oh I get obsessed (and that is putting it mildly) with new games or some anyway - Skyrim and Sants Row the third are my two this year but that pales in comparison with how excited I am about ME3, my husband is very understanding. I have booked a weeks holiday, even though I only work part time, and by the end of it I will be caffinated, sleep deprived but very happy (i hope *please be a jokermance, please be a jokermance please..............jokermance:-D)

Similar to you SilentK - except I am the man and he is the woman by steriotypical standards - he likes romcoms - i hate them, he is terrified of horror films & spiders and spends way more money on clothes than I do and I am the one that is happy sitting in front of the tv playing compuer games with a cold beer and the humour of a 14 year old boy :-)

Anyway back to joker and ME3 romance - I think it was casey hudson who said that this time we are aiming for the heart and not lower on twitter - I am wondering how you think that will play out? do you think we would have to flirt with joker in the cockpit? or will he have a room? or do you think that he would sometimes come and vist shep in her/ his quarters? I am hoping there will be several romance schenes for each character (not always sexy ones) where they get closer - rather than going from zero to full on!

I would think it'd be conversation with occasional hints dropped and some flirtation going on. Joker would sleep in the crew area with the rest of them, on a bunk. Only Shepard really has a room all her own. (I refer to Shepard as she, deal with it)

For the purposes of my fic and understanding who goes where at what times for continuity, I chose a bunk in the crew room that's his, and also one that's Kelly's (directly across from his) so that I could correctly envision the room as I write the scenes that take place there.

I imagine him in this one the camera is focussing on, and Kelly inhabits the one across:

Congrats. Now you can't unsee and this will forever be his bunk. It's now canon.

So be it :D

And I agree with you: I think they would really like to tell us that there will be a Jokermance but they are not allowed to do it. It is difficult to give a hint without being to obvious and without the possibility that it could mean something else - that is why it is a hint and no statement.

But really: Seth told us that we are going to be really happy - what more proof do we need?

What would speak for a Joker/EDI romance? I tell you: nothing.

EDI says in ME2 that there is only a platonic relationship.
Joker says as answer on EDIs response (platonic relationship) that this is creepy
Seth Green said in an interview something like "romancing a computer? Thank's dudes!" (not exactly his words but how it sounds).

And how many EDI/Joker romance supporters are there? I mean really serious supporters not the trolls who like to say something "funny" in this thread. I know we have a EDI support thread but not really big and there is not the focus on a romance with Joker.

And I am really sure that there are more people twittering/stalking Seth and Casey and whole Bioware saying we want a Joker/Shepard romance and not a Joker/EDI romance.

So when Seth says we are going to be really happy than is this the last proof that I needed. Together with all the other hints it is very sure in my opinion that we get what we want (and I see myself as realist not optimist).

So my dear friends and Joker lovers - please don't be pessimistic - we have many reasons to celebrate!

And sorry - I couldn't post earlier as I was traveling and just came home, but before going to bed I just wanted to drop by and tell you to be happy :)

Miranda has a room too. :P I always thought that Joker has his room somewhere nearby bridge so he shouldn't walk too much. xD
BTW, I don't know but crew room is in my opinion too smal for all the crew of ship.

like you Elanor I always thought - even though there is no reason to :-), that officers/ high ranking crew or squaddies would have their own rooms somewhere and only the lower ranks would share the bunks we see. After all the normandy is a big ship and i dont think we get to see half of it in game, I dont know maybe we will find out in 3!

Eliantariel, I think you are right looking back at the tweet-hints we have had they are far more that sound positive than negative - still not letting myself get too excited but hopeful!

There are enough bunks if the crew"Hot Bunks"Soon as you get up someone crawls in the bunk.3 people 8 hrs each equal a 24hr day.Since the ship is mostly a human crew probably on 24 hr day.Joker might be in one of the stais chambers.Back on topic...Go Joker love.

Bah, canon. I eat canon for breakfast with a side of denial! *blissfully noms on the Udina being the "canon" councilor point*

Lol, I kid (but seriously, just because Karpyshyn said it, it doesn't mean I chose it). I like this, actually. Yeah, I accept your canon of that being Joker's bunk.

However, Kelly being right across from him?

http://t3.gstatic.co...rQtWa-hbsRQ&t=1
I don't think so.

If we get a Jokermance, my Shepard may have to relocate Kelly to Jack's old bunk (yeah, Jack is dead on the Femshep I want to romance Joker with. She """forgot""" to upgrade the Normandy's shielding). Ain't no way another woman (especially one as affectionately liberal as Kelly) is getting near Joker. My Femshep isn't big on competition. :P

I always assumed there were SR1 style capsule beds(?) somewhere on the ship. Jacob and other high ranking crew get assigned bunk beds on the Crew Deck while lower ranks hot bunk with the capsule beds.

This is on the same deck as the gym/training area I also firmly believe exists.

That we'll apparently be happy with what happens to Joker worries me a little. It's the wording, no other LI has had those types of reassurances.

Yay or nay it's already a done deal we'll just have to wait and see I suppose.

I am with you on all points, I think that we have more reason to be paranoid and need reassurance that other LI fans - we have wanted it for so long and been denyed, but as you said nothing to do but wait and see and hope (although most likely in vain) that bioware continue to give us hints or tell us Image IPB

I gotta think that Joker has his own bunk...traditionally, even on submarines, only enlisted crew hot bunk. He probably shares a room with one other person since he's a fairly junior/midrank officer, but that's how officers roll: our own bunks. There's more you've got to go through and prove in order to become one, so it comes with its rewards. At least, that's what makes sense to me...it doesn't make sense to me that he'd bunk with the rest of the enlisted/non-commissioned crew. They try to segregate the officers from enlisted because fraternization between the two groups is expressly forbidden for the sake of the command structure. In my mind, it would at least be like on BSG, where the officers have their bunks in the same room and the enlisted had their hot bunk cabin. Just my $0.02 on that.

As for the tweets, I remain cautiously optimistic. I shall assume nothing. :)

I loved Kingdom Hearts (TRINITIES! TRINITIES EVERYWHERE. MUST FIND THEM ALL). I just...can't finish the second game. I try, and try but I just can't get into it as well. I think the story is rather interesting, it just doesn't grip me like the first one did. :( And I think you're right, the Organization thing was way too much. I felt like I was missing something when it came to them. Mixing Final Fantasy and Disney was a bold move, and it worked for a good bit. The second game kinda rubbed Final Fantasy in our faces. <_<

Yes but technically they are civillians, I don't think TIM or Cereberus give a crap about fraternisation as long as the job gets done, plus the fact that it is supposed to be a suicide mission...

Hell he probably encourages the orgies!

Ok, maybe too far but you get my meaning lol.

Thanks, he looks very disapproving there lol, I didn't really like the way he looked at first but he has grown on me, I always thought his eyes were too squinty. Made him to take a break from my femshep who I will not play again until the end of February lol.

I think I have burnt myself out a bit on ME which is good I guess, I won't want to play it again until 3 comes out and then I will go into it fresh.

Both my fiance and I are gamers, so when a new game comes out we both like we both get it, I'm a PC girl and he gets it on xbox. He works at EB Games so I always know when a game is going to break relelase date or come out early. When ME3 comes out we have set aside a day to play, we have 2 girls who will go to their grandparents for a couple of hours. I love my games but I feel guilty sometimes lol.

Well, it seemed a lot more paramilitary to me than civilian. They just talked a lot more about having civilian-grade amenities due to Cerberus's ridiculous budget. Perhaps they don't care about fraternization as much, but they definitely have a destinctive line between officers (maybe they don't have any rank title except for, say, "Officer Lawson," but the destinction is there) and the enlisted folk. Just pointing out that officers get perks like their own bunks in this world, so it's possible Joker doesn't bunk with the rest of the crew. Maybe he shares a room with Jacob. We never figured out where he sleeps when he doesn't have his eye on "da priiiiiiiize."

Anyway, I'm sure if there are orgies to be had on the Normandy, Joker is a full supporter. XD

Oh, and Chapters 6 and 7 of The Perfect Bluff are FINALLY done and up! I put a lot into those. B)
