Anyway, i knew we'd be getting more Joker in this game than before, since his content from ME1 went way up in ME2, i mean we even got to play as him.

And that artwork being up on that board is amazing, i hope it wins and they be all like "That Shoker is hawt we gotta us some o' THAT! MM!' because thats how they talk.

I so support this spoiler thing. I don't want to know any spoilers. I'm olny interested if Joker will be LI.

Guys I don't want to freak out here, but with all this new information on our favorite pilot, I'm begining to really think that we're going to get to sit in Jokers pilots chair, if you know what I mean. Ur hurrhurr.

It is also late and I have been drinking, so sorry if that was all jumbled even though I really didnt' type much.

I can't wait... They could confirm just Jokeromance.  Don't they see that we're waiting with bated breath? xD

Oh yeah, that spoiler. Yeah, I actually found out about both of those points before the GameInformer article. One was from an E3 reporter that talked about more than he should have and the other I discovered from a very rare video of the E3 demo playing past the point when Shepard boards the Normandy. Look, I don't want to be spoiled, but anything that will help satiate the anticipation for ME3 is just fine with me. Plus, I don't consider it any kind of major spoiler if GameInformer decides to tell us about it. Bioware is a trustworthy company concerning their story-sensitive secrets, I know we won't be spoiled beyond what we can tolerate before ME3 comes out. But, like I said, I will be avoiding these forums like a plague once ME3 comes out. Seriously. I won't even be able to trust a google search or Mass Effect Wiki article in the matter. Perhaps I can request a PM be sent to me from one of you brave and trustworthy folk informing me of a Jokermance, if there is one? (And nothing else) Pwetty pwease?

On another note, I finally tracked down the footage from Comic Con that I missed today talking about ME3 on Gametrailers (seriously, I was about to rage given that I work swings and there's no way I would've been able to see the footage at the scheduled time). Concerning the question about romances, it seems Mr. Hudson took the wrong off-ramp with the answer (maybe he didn't want to accidentally spoil certain secret romances, I'm not sure). I was kind of hoping he would tell us that there would be more physical and emotional interaction before the pre-suicide mission sex scene, but whatever. Gives me more to look forward to when ME3 comes out! Also, his response to the Tali question wins. The asker should've known better, honestly; Tali is a powder keg in Bioware. No doubt her identity is their greatest secret that they simply will not reveal until ME3 comes out.

I would love it if they just confirmed the new romance options joker (please) and who is bi :-)!! I am guessing CH is being overly careful with his answers and will be for a while - I am guessing we cant even hope to really get any LI info or big hints for another 5 or 6 months and they start to really push the marketing but I hope I am wrong!

As to spoilers - I personally dont really consider anything that happens in the first half hour or so of gameplay a spoiler - I think we had all pretty much guessed what was going to happen the moment we saw the demo and heard the commintary :-)

No it's not major spoiler but I'm happy that I didn't read it. It's something like in article, rewiev before game premiere but I remeber that I read article about ME2 before I played in ME2 and I regreted because I rather didn't know this small things about storyline.
I'll be avoiding forum since february.(more or less) xDD This forum will be full of spoiler alerts.
I'm just super cautious. xD

You know what, I take back what I said about spoiling ME2 for myself 
I literally just finished a playthrough, and this time I forewent some loyalty missions (Zaeed and Grunts - my least favourites) and missed an upgrade to the Normandy.

I figured some people would die, and becuase they weren't loyal, I thought it would be Zaeed and Grunt.
But instead Kasumi and Thane died! Both of whom I love. Plus it was really close with Miranda at the end (she's really grown on me)
Looks like this game can still surprise me. Which is awesome. But why those two!! 
I'm just going to go cry in a corner for a bit...

Awh man... I just know when this game comes out I'm going to end up reading spoilers just to make sure Joker lives. I'm not sure if I could handle his death...

oh no i agree spoilers should be equiped with warnings! If you where talking (in part) about my post I ment my personal opinion not a general for everyone. sorry

IMO we're a thread on the ME3 board spoilers should be expected. I'm all for spoiler spacing so people can make the choice of which spoilers to read but all spoilers should be fair game not just the ones pertaining to Joker.

So sorry NamiraWilhelm about the spoiler. After reading the suggestions, I did some searching online and found an article that talks about the demo and has the spoilers. I linked it in my post back on pg. 67. Again, sorry that you didn't want to know. Should have thought of the link earlier....

lol Casey Hudson truely is a master of the question diflection  I guess there is alot of pressure not to reveal too much - just hope that he slips up this weekend and say 'well Joker is one of the new romances'

I gotta admit... my stomach did drop a little at reading that on my twitter. And then I rushed over here to see everyone else's reactions. I guess everyone here is thinking along the lines of "Please don't let this mean they're doing a Joker/Edi relationship. Please."

I told myself not to get hopeful or too disappoinhted in these vague tweets, but it's been getting harder and harder as the weeks go on >_<

Weeeeeeellllll...honestly here's my prediction. Between Joker and EDI, ME2 was all bout Joker being mildly annoyed and distrustful of an AI like EDI.

It led to some hilarious banter, but this also served to play up the whole "How far can we trust Cerberus?" theme. By the end of ME2--EDI has more than proven her worth to Joker-- as an AI and as a machine that doesn't turn into a maniacal-crazy-robot-overlord. When Joker gave her access to the Normandy during crisis -- she simultaneously saved his butt and Shepard's.

Now that this rapport has been built--here's what I predict Bioware will do.

Shepard no longer with Cerberus, and is now working with the Alliance. In GameInformer or another article featuring ME3, Normandy SR2 is said to be stripped down, inspected, and put back together under the Alliance. (I.E. No longer a "Cerberus" ship per se, but it's still has all it's components and still harbors EDI.

After ME3 dishes out some more happy emotional moments involving Joker and EDI wokin' together, savin' Shepard, etc., The Illusive Man will activate something within EDI and she will be forced to turn on us, and Joker.

EDI is Cerberus technology at her core, and even if the Alliance took the ship her part--If The Illusive Man wanted something hidden within her AI--there's no way Alliance would be able to find it.

Bioware loves pulling suprising, heart-wrenching crap like that...

 wow... that is clever. I can really imagine that happening.
Poor EDI... Poor Joker 

Though if this gets us some angst ridden scene with Joker, where we can comfort him, then I might be strangely accepting of this scenario...

Doesnt seem to be any new news at all really , even the film panel was just 'yes we are making a me film'!! Hoping that they are saving something special for tomorrow after this march.

I am taking no news at good news at the moment as far as LI's are concerned - just because its not a no  ! Hopefully the femshep trailer will show joker (*caugh caugh* being comforted *caugh*)

I think Casey did mention on the live stream that they were keeping the best things - and the main things - under wraps. So heres hoping that includes a Joker romance
