Okay, I'll jump on the dialogue train:
"So, I finally got around to watching
True Blue," she said, replacing her mug on the steel countertop. Joker smiled.
"Yeah? I thought that'd be too soap opera for you, Commander."
"It was, but somehow less obnoxious than
Palaven Days."
"You only say that because Garrus won't stop talking about it."
"
Palaven Days is less about Palaven or days at all, and more about extreme closeups of those knobbly things turian females have on their hips." Shepard placed her forefingers and thumbs together in a mock square and peered through it with one eye, grinning.
"Seriously. I wonder if we can score some of their zoom lenses for the Normandy?"
"You know what I'd want to see?" She mused, leaning back and folding her hands in her lap. Joker looked on expectantly.
"Some quality in broadcasting?" he asked, stirring his coffee for the umpteenth time.
"Well if we're talking about trashy soaps at least I'd like to see ones about quarians."
"Aww. No knobbly things for you, Commander?"
"What, are you a knobbly-thing kind of guy?" she asked, her eyes flashing mischievously as she looked up from the bottom of her mug. Joker merely shook his head in reply, snickering.
"So what'd you really think of
True Blue anyhow?"
"I thought the characters were a little lacklustre but put together well," she said thoughtfully as she took a sip of tea.
"Put together well," he echoed. "Yeah that's one way of putting it." She smiled wide and shook her head.
"Yeah, there is that. But I think this stuff will rot your brain and ruin your taste for cinema. Why don't you watch something with a little more depth?" she asked.
"Like what?"
"I could always order a copy of
Blasto," she said, tilting her head.
