Woot 82!

Sorrel, that may have been one of the most interesting internet things I have ever read! But you've basically hit the nail on the head, mocking the trolls! Rofl!

...I'm sorry, but why is your Maleshep looking at Joker's head like it's a giant cheeseburger?
Yup, I said it. Picture has been branded for life! Boo-yah! (I'm tired and it's friday, you can tell can't you?) XD

Yay Troll mocking! Silly, silly trolls, thinking they can get to us by acting like that, Pssh

Wow, it is almost 4:30 in the morning here and I have yet to go to bed. Nor do I feel tired. Sleep? Who needs sleep?

I hear you, there! I still don't 100% trust her. As noble as she is, she's still an AI and a Cerberus one, to boot. TIM didn't put a control chip in Shepard... that's not to say he didn't put one in EDI (and it doesn't help that he'll be an antagonist in ME3). After I got the crew back, I wanted the option to send her back into the core.

"Great, EDI! Yeah, thanks for the Harby data and whatnot. *clasps hands together* I think you should go back into your core, now. Joker and the crew have got it handled... plus, that whole 'I am the Normandy' speech you gave creeped the heck outta me! So yeah, go on now! You got Legion in there, now. Y'all can talk about robot stuff!"

I have a sinking fear that EDI will be the Anders of ME3.

No, she won't be an Anders...

Anders may not have started a revolution the right way (not to mention lying to you...he and Justice are sleeping on the couch for a LONG time), but I agree with what he is fighting for.

No, EDI will be a Benedict Arnold.

As you said, she is still an AI - who knows what can happen. TIM might have an "Easy" button somehwere, or if EDI is made with Reaper technology all the Reapers have to do is press their own "Easy" button. I trust EDI full heartedly in ME2. ME 3? It remains to be seen. I really wanted to unplug the overlord as soon as the main mission was over...but we never got that option. First thing out of my mouth when I realized this: "DANGER DANGER WILL ROBINSON!"

Gosh Joker, what a tool you were.

;)

Err, I used the wrong wording. I meant she will be like Anders in that someone who was an established character throughout more than one game will earn your loyalty and then pull a stunt that will make players all around the world harmoniously shout, "CONFLABBIT, EDI!" (That's right. You heard the squeaky-clean version here first, people)

Yes. She'll be another Anders. I have no doubt.

Apparently Joker's face was based off some guy in Edmonton who came down for BW voicecasting one day.

So. Somewhere out there in my homeland, and probably in Edmonton, there is a frigging fox of a man.

?? Do you mean you're Canadian or are you saying this person is in Edmonton England!?

i must know!

I'm gussing Canada, just for the fact that I don't think someone would travel from Edmonton England to Edmonton Canada just for VO work, lol.

Thats why i was confused, so im guessing Sorrel is Canadian then

Your posts border on trolling, good sir. First with the Kellan Lutz crap, now this. I suggest you skedaddle, for you are breaking one of the rules for this thread.

And if you are SO concerned for Joker's health, read the OP. There is a link in my signature.

Also, I suggest you actually look up OI before spouting ignorance. For those who actually suffer from Vroliks, it is insulting for people to assume they can't make love or have a relationship just because of their condition.

1) I started Kellan "crap" because Joker's face in one beautiful fanart picture did remind me of him
2) In ME Joker himself said that it takes him quite some efforts only to get up and go to the restroom, that's why I asked.

Anyway, good sir, I suggest you keep your advice for someone who cares and that you do not address to me anymore.

Joker and Ashley perhaps (would be a cool about turn for the Shepherds out there who have been waiting on her) or how about Kahlee Sanders - you know she's going to finally come to the game - I'll bet on it!

I'm wondering what Joker is gonna think about what Shep did at the end of Arrival, actually I'm wondering what most of your crew etc are gonna think of it.

@SagaciousTien Other than knowing she's from the books I have no idea who Kahlee Sanders is. Is she important or interesting?

Why do I never save before a cute Joker interaction? First the convo post Horizon and now on the Reaper Joker had the sweetest grin after Shep told him she knew he would save her.

Not even a screen cap. I disgust myself ;)

@Omega Torsk that's actually Joker and Jester. Jester being a clone of Joker. Look at the face, lol.

Since I guess we have to explain this again...

Yes, Joker had severe problems walking in ME. In ME2, he made it quite abundantly clear that he had had many surgeries -- on Cerberus' tab -- to strengthen his bones. "Bone Weave" is an established thing in the ME 'verse and Joker says he can get around unaided much easier now. He can even run, suddenly stop, crawl around, and even get knocked on his ass without breaking anything. Apparently he suffered minor stress-related fractures when he got knocked on his ass, according to EDI.

So yes, with some care and attention, the act could be performed. There are many ways to do it. One doesn't have to just DO IT LIKE A TRAIN.

EDIT:

I would also like to mention there have been several experimental (and successful) surgeries in a similar vein performed for real sufferers of OI which involved inserting metal tubes into the femurs and supporting them with bolts.

Are you happy now? You've illicited a response. :D

Now, now. We can all get along.

We'll be happy to answer any concerns about Joker's condition. Just know that we take "you'll breakificate his pelvis" comments very seriously unless you're a longtime member and we know you're joking.

Anyway,

We believe that Joker is either greatly over-exaggerating his condition in ME1 or that Cerberus has "upgraded" him in ME2. The reason we believe this is due to the amount of action Joker gets in the second game. He is seen hobbling around the ship's 3 decks, crawling through ducts, and at one point gets blown onto his butt when EDI accelerates the ship. He also crashlands the Normandy without much of a problem; yes, he complains about possibly breaking his ribs, but he is seen a few minutes later out of his chair, shooting an assault rifle. So, we believe that if he can go through all of that without breaking his bones, he can have a physical romance with Shepard.

Somebody wrote a very good article on osteogenesis imperfecta on this thread, but I don't remember who (either Eliantariel or Wynne... maybe neither) and it was written 2 weeks ago (it could be as much as 20 pages back for all I know). But anyway, if anyone finds it, let us know. Perhaps Phantom can add it to the in-progress OP... maybe replace the Jokermance song with it. Err, I think it's a fun song, I just think it might be a tad excessive for the OP. It's just my opinion though, no need to go spreading it around. ;) But yeah, if you find that article, give it a read. :)

Edit: FOUND IT! Page 48, half-way down the page, poster's name is TriviaAeducan (dragonreine in disguise)

Edit: Gah! Sorrel beat me to a response! If only I hadn't stupidly pressed home instead of making a new tab and completely losing this post the first time... oh well, now you have 2 responses.

And on the subject of the OP... *turns toward SilentK*

Well Kahlee Sanders was in all 3 books so she is kind of important. And in ME3 there gonna be Kai Leng, another book character (cerberus dog btw).

Kellan is more important  :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Kai Leng is a very skilled killer and he's loyal to TIM so it's gonna be interesting. Kahlee....the only really interesting part about her is when she's briefly talking with the reapers thru huskified Paul Grayson.
