Okay, okay guys... after sleeping on it and thinking... and looking at Sorrel's tumblr, maybe... maybe this news is beyond Joker and more personal to Sorrel... but I still don't know! The tweets... so vague! And the fact that there was a tweet made to Patrick Weekes asking him about someting in the same hour doesn't help matters at all!!!

Simple tweets and nothing more, but something's hidden through a door, though I do not have the key. Something's there I cannot see! What does it mean? What does it mean?

Sorrel, I don't think you would get banned for telling us. If anything, Weekes would get a slap on the wrist from Casey Hudson! ...if the spoiler is big enough, the worst that could happen is that you would be removed from Weekes' twitter.

Edit - You are right though it may have nothing to do with Joker and may be something personal - the timing of the tweets, and vagueness its hard to say....*.will calm down and wait patiently* and sent positive thoughts in Sorrels direction for either outcome

Oh gawd xD When she comes back to see this.. She'll be either really flattered that we read so much into it or annoyed that we read so much into it 

Sorrel's basically going through what the Bioware staff go through when they post fleeting hints on their twitter. Well hopefully everything is okay, whether it's personal or MassEffect related. Let's just eagerly await her return.

Okay, this is prooooobably the worst time to de-lurk myself, but I'm just gonna say, hey, there's still hope! I mean, some of the tweets imply at least more dialogue with Joker, and I'm totally cool with that! Any more stuff with the Joke-meister is fine in my book.

And either way, if there isn't a Jokermance, we could always, y'know, start a big movements in which we parade around in SR2 hats until there's a patch, or a DLC or summat.

Letting yourselves get all worked up over this isn't going to help or change matters. I'm not going to let it freak me out because everything was so vague. We don't know what the tweets were about, and this is also why I don't use twitter because there's not much you can put into each little comment with only a 140 character limit. Let it go and focus on the positives. I'm still going to stay hopeful for our Jokermance.

Well, now I just feel stupid... and I don't think finding out about the absence of a Jokermance would exactly ruin one's day, so I think we may have accidentally juxtaposed something personal going on in Sorrel's life with the tweet to @patsquinade.

And yeah, CeltWolf's words are wise. Twitter is kind of a bad source when it comes to vague info since so few characters can be put into each tweet!

So, *lets it go* ... unless of course, we get confirmation that the tweets were relevant to Joker!

Joker has never had any kind of LM. If he did what do you think it would be? Not necessarily a loyalty-quest, one of the wonderful things about him is that he has always been in Shepard's corner. Rather Joker having a q tied to him. If he did have a q, perhaps it would be tied to the Normandy? I don't think we will get to see anything like this but it would make me happy. I would very much enjoy doing something for him if he asked my Shepard for it. Garrus, Thane, Tali and the rest of them asked for help, I would love to be able to help Joker out with something.

"Joker has a romance, but it is not with Shepard" would not be a major spoiler, and maybe not even a minor one since it was never promised and they likely thought there wasn't much of an audience for it. There are already 4 LIs for a straight female Shepard. Maybe more as of ME3. Probably less; even 3 may well seem like a lot when only 20% of Shepards appear to be female and the male players mostly will have romanced Liara.

If he knew some of us like Sorrel were really hoping, he might have said something just to stop us from hoping all that time and then having our hearts broken. If we know now, then it won't be a letdown when we actually play; we have time to move on before March.

The reason we got all those positive sounding hints and comments about Joker--he's a beloved character who has a larger role in ME3, and he has a romance with someone who is not Shepard. It's as simple as that. For most people, it will be "oh, great, he's not alone anymore!" It's not really a mystery if we take our personal feelings out of the equation.

I would normally say in times like these that there wasn't reason to assume anything yet, but my gut seems to be approximately 100% sure that this ship has sailed. Not in the good way. I've not had it happen yet in my life that the sinking feeling I have right now was wrong.

Believe me, I would love to be wrong.


I will echo everyone's words to Sorrel, though--if this is something personal, which it doesn't seem to be, but if it is--then the best of wishes, and my thoughts are with you.

'We're seriously considering putting a Joker romance in if it gets enough support'
Which would be kinda awesome, we should still keep our chins up and hope for the best
