Personally, I don't envision Joker as being gay. However, for me that just means I won't play a DudeShep for any romance plot with him. That doesn't mean that the option shouldn't be available, either.
And for the record there wasn't anything wrong with DAII's "Anyone" approach, either. :C

So.. looks like we need a discussion! Ahem.
If in ME2, like in DA, we could give and possibly receive gifts from squaddies. What would you like to gift Joker, and what kind of token would you like to receive?

I'd give him the model of the first Normandy. Yes I've read that in a story somewhere, but come on it makes sense!

I read that story too! It was so cute, I think that would be an awesome gift.

OHhh... me likey. Hmmm... well this would be before they were romanticly involved but my FemShep would gift him a day in Omega going around looking for new stuff for the Normandy. Perfect for getting him out of that pilotchair and away from prying eyes in CIC. Much more fun to flirt a little with the guy when you know that half your staff isn't in the background listening as hard as they can, wondering about if you will go after the turian who's been looking at the boss quite a bit or if the boss has a thing for pilots. If Thane is calling FemShep Siha at that time then you know that they probably have a bettingpool going, and the poor guy doesn't have his private room like the rest of the LI:s. Jupp, get him out of that chair and away from the Normandy.NamiraWilhelm wrote...

I really liked this also =) I only play FemHawke or FemWarden, can't really get into a male char which usually means that I miss out on so many LI:s in a game. For me this was great! Just romance the LI:s that suits your Hawke personally. And if you don't want it, just don't flirt and you'll be fine.Trapper_920 wrote...
I like the pro-choice idea done in DA2 because you could have it the way you wanted it. So if you wanted gay Anders he was gay but if you wanted straight Anders he was straight. You don't want something you "choose" not to have it.

I think it would be neat if they could make some DLC where you get to take your LI somewhere nice, just as a breather. Maye a restaurant or a waterfall or a bar...
