I dunno about your suggestion.

The beat is certainly fitting, and the actual music fits well, but the sparse lyrics and repetition don't really fit well together for a love song, or something similar.

Why is this so hard?

because we want to pick the best  fitting, nice listen, or  not run of the mill what you expect to get when fans  do something this nature...

oh don't even get me going... I find it shameful that I get a better romance from a PS 2 era JRPG   that has conversation system   than  Mass Effect.

The Mass Effect equivalant of Romance is joke.  


As for last suggestion.... You sir  win +10 internets... I think the Daft Punk works rather nice...
