Oh, it's doable. More than that I cannot say

Not a story. Just some concepts and possible futures we were discussing in the spoiler thread.

Sorry :P

the I will wait i have avoide most of the spoilers up  until now.  no need to change.

Though I have this reoccuring seen in my head   that has Miranda calmly walking into her father office with a little bundle.  Involving dialogue about despite how he made her  she over came it all and the baby symbolizing that.

While a scenario like this would be adorable, it wouldn't fit the mood of her meeting her tyrannical, dickhole of a father. It would personify her emotional growth, but I couldn't really see her endangering her child's life by bringing it to her father's office :pinched:

Meaning that if the leak is all there is, she provides nothing for the overall war effort that her replacement doesn't also do. So there has to be more.

Because I don't know. Sorry. We'll know very soon (March, or whenever we know the full story).

I assume her replacement is Oriana?

Anyway... Yes, that is incredibly disapppointing. I would assume BioWare made at least SOME form of change to it, given the initial backlash.

I was thinking more along othe  of Zuko talking  confronting  Ozai if you have watched Avatar....

And her father is from a fulll Shepard,Garrus, Jacob, Grunt and Wrex  standing right there.

I don't have the slightest memories of that show.

Anyway... If Shepard and co. are there with her, then it would make slightly more sense, but I still just can't see Miranda endangering her child's life like that, unless she were to help Shepard and friends take about all of his security, then goes back, grabs the baby, then comes back.

Good Show for a  Nicktoons kid show.

And As enjoyable as it would be to have Grunt and  Wrex toss the man around like a  football.. having  his psyhce and ego complete torn down. Nothing more enjoyable than watching a tyrannt lose all control  of things he or she  wants to control.

Bluntly stated, I do trust that Miranda will have an endgame contribution. The writers aren't that incompetent, and she's built up too much for it to be really minor.

I've no doubts she will either, I'm just weary of the scale and scope.

You'll have to forgive me, I don't do fanfics, no matter how well they're received.

If you're talking about writing one, I don't either. I have a head-canon, but I will never put that in writing (or type as the case would be).

Reading them I'm not overly into either. I might make an exception for jtav's, but reading it might make me want to start up ME again before I would prefer to.

I've no interest in writing fanfics. I tried writing a personal history for one of my WoW characters, and it was decenty received, but I just couldn't think of a follow up. I suck at creativity.

Anyway... I can't stand reading them. Nothing against the authors, but the few that I HAVE read (That turned me off) just twisted and mangled the characters and made the developers and writers of the game seem like retards.

I've actually liked what I've read in the leak. Shepard has a couple of lines that make me smile, and he's gone from sounding sort of creepy to being head-over-heels in love with her:

Vega: I take it you to Miss Lawson again sir?

Shepard: How do you know about that?

Vega: With all due respect sir, every time you get an email or a comm call from her you walk around the ship with this huge grin on your face.

Shepard: No I don't.

Vega: Commander, I'm willing to bet if you wen't the CO you'd be skipping down the corridors.

Shepard: Jim.

Vega: Yes sir?

Shepard: I hate you.

Vega: (laughs) 'Course you do sir.

So I'm in the process if making my final save for ME3, and am trying to decide if I want to romance Miranda in ME2. I romanced Liara in the first game and was planning on continuing in the second, but now I'm not so sure. I feel like I want to romance Miranda now, but not if she's barely going to be in ME3 :/ especially since I know Liara has a big role. I imagine a lot of people are facing a similar situation. Any and all insight on the subject would be appreciated!

She's in the game a bit more than "Barely".

If I were you, I'd make 2 seperate saves, just stay with Liara in one and Miranda in the other.

But definitely make Miranda your canon save.

I had Liara romance in ME1 and moved on to Miranda in the 2nd. However Ashley was my ME1 LI until she died on Virmire. I was ninjamanced hard by Liara (bug) and had to head canon it on my main game for it to make sense for me. It ended up working out in the end in LotSB because the friendly banter with her doesn't seem forced, but I used it as an opportunity to break it off with her and solidify things with Miranda.

If you want to trade in Liara for Miranda I say go for it. It's definitely an upgrade IMO. I think Shepard and Miranda make a better battle couple anyway.

I think her ME3 romance is of extremely high quality, much better than ME2, and definitely worth a save.

I've been thinking...

Say Miranda and Shepard settle down one day after the war is over.

Which planet/city do you think they'd live in/on?

Mindoir (if Shepard is colonist) or Horizon.

Miranda seems to like Illium, Bekenstein is close to the Citadel which is good if Shepard is still a Spectre, Noveria's quiet and the privacy it offers makes it a good place to run a covert, STG-like organization from.

Skull: Really? Why? Those are bloody backwater colonies.
Earth, the Citadel, Bekenstein, Elysium. Maybe even a space station, say what you will about Jack Harper, he has good taste.

Well, as with a lot of other stuff, we don't really know, so it's hard to give advice Image IPB

What we have seen appears to be the beginning of Miranda's romance arc in ME3. I like what's there, but it's unfinished.

If it's finished properly, then I think it could be excellent Image IPB

If it's cut short or finished awkwardly, then no Image IPB

See you in March? Image IPB

Side note, came across this recently.  The first one is called "5 Reasons I'm Nervous About ME3."  The second one is called "5 Reasons I'm Totally Not Nervous About ME3."  Pretty entertaining.

Love the first one's take on the Collectors being a non-scary threat.  Also laughed at the brevity of the first one's #2 reason.

The ME3 Miri romance has already been revealed?
