The ME3 Miri romance has already been revealed?

Only what we have been able to glean from the text files, but parts of it, yeah.

Does it look satisfactory, or do I need to show Bioware what 'going postal' really means?

If there be spoilers, PM pleeze.

What we have is very very good. "I'm perfect, you're perfect, let's have sex" has been replaced by a Shepard who is utterly taken with her as a person, who is attracted first of all to her intellect and personality. It's the war that keeps them apart, not unconvincing fears of death.

It looks like it could easily be really good. It's a lot more emotional and feels like there's a deeper attachment there.

But... what we have is just a few scenes. Well, and a brief snippet from the very end of the game.

Anyway, I say... save "going postal" for later, if need be Image IPB

Edit: Basically, jtav is better at describing it than me Image IPB

Does anyone know where I can employ this panda so I can give Bioware a little reminder?

That's because jtav is in fangirl mode. I've been critical to the point of comedy regarding the romance, but I can be pleased. And what we have pleases me greatly.

Skull: Really? Why? Those are bloody backwater colonies.
Earth, the Citadel, Bekenstein, Elysium. Maybe even a space station, say what you will about Jack Harper, he has good taste.

Well, I was thinking in Mindoir only for colonist Shepard. And Horizon... for the events on ME3. I can't sayt with no mention too much spoilers.

So an actual romance and not a BS  excuse to frak  like rabbits...

Excellent.

I am looking forward to this.

I'm willing to say that the ME2 romance was heartfelt and sincere as well, going by the tone of the dialogue, not the words themselves.

A bit of the writing was horrid, but some of it was actually pretty good, imo.

Bioware said that in this game there will be fewer squadmates so that you can have deeper connection with them, but it doesn't look like Miranda will be a permanent squadmate. It sounds like what they were planning isn't like Ash in ME2, but I hope its not like Liara where you only have 1 mission with her as a squadmate and thats all the dialogue. I would like more than that.

In all seriousness, welcome to the family!

Anyway... Miri looks to be having a decent shapeup in ME3, even though she doesn't appear to get squad status. It's definitely better than Horizon, and you'll almost certainly get more than Liara did in LotSB.

It sort of boils down to this, people who were attracted to Miranda just because "she's hot" will probably leave her for Ash who now "hotter". Those who like her because she's this brilliant, driven, caring individual are going to stick with the romance, and for an added bonus get a Shepard who feels the same way.

It seems like it won't really work like either of those. It's more like a parallel story where you are in touch throughout (but Miranda never sticks around for long) until you get to the main mission that is focused on Miranda, and then... we are not sure. It is unfinished and stops making sense at that point.

Other than that, we know she can be there for the endgame. And she doesn't join up.

That's why you make multiple Shepards, so you can explore different options in the game. My cannon's sticking with Jack, but my secondary male left Ashley for Moranda. Why go back when I have a Shepard that stuck with Ashley anyway?

I was just watching some of Peter Chubg's Aeon Flux shorts, and something about aeon reminds me of Miranda. Not exactly sure what it is, but there's something in common between the two of them.

Moranda Solson... a hybrid of my two favorite characters. Now that is hot Image IPB

For the most part the consequences of jumping back and forth between LI's ("Cheating") seem to be that you miss out on seeing a romance arc develop. Bioware is very good and starting romances, but we've yet to see much of how they write a continuing romance.
