I still some concerns about the romance content but there definitely does seem to be some decent dialogue in evidence in the leak.

Concerns like what?

There's a nice re-union scene but don't see how it progresses & culminates after the mission and evidence of dialogue relating to the future.

Regarding Miranda, I think it really depends on how brave the writers are. There's a chance I may get my reformed Cerberus arc, which would make me happy. But it would require a degree of...nuance I don't associate with ME. I'm beginning to wish Oriana had been tragically killed during Miranda's LM.

I'm curious to see how Miranda's psyche would be affected by this.

Well  she already deals with  emotions in a very detached manner this would  most likely send  her into complete emotional shut down.  Followed  by a  Kill Bill style Rampage of Revenge but  I don't she would be able to recover fully if at all.

How would that have affected her development for ME3 if Oriana were killed by Eclipse Mercs? I fear it would've been used as a cheap ploy for her to turn "evil" and become the new illusive man.

We have to take into consideration that bold ideas that would be well received by few, but add substance to a story is seldom found in video games.

I had the lingering thought that it would make her depressed or go insane.

But your idea is better, if still a horrible idea, no offense.

edit: Can anyone PM me the romance dialogue?

I'm a big fan and believer in self control, and that's one of the things I like about this character, she controls just about everything the comes into her field of vision. If something horrible happens she takes control of it. I was stating what I think most writers would use that opportunity for.

Oh.

I'll take your word for it, since I haven't read the dialogue.

So this is odd...

"Each character includes updated photos, character bio, storyline, and logo, and is packaged with Mass Effect 3 branding. Each has a pack-in card and bonus downloadable in-game content, which is exclusive and different for each character. "

This is from the latest promotional content for ME3 (It's the figurines that were thought to be cancelled)

Why am I posting this here?

Because this is shown under the Miranda figurine...

What is horrible? Becaming the new leader of Cerberus isn't necessary bad, at least if we think of the idea of Cerberus she had. It's different if she'd became like TIM (but in ME2 he didn't seem that "evil" character).
By the way, I agree more with your idea. She'd probably have gone insane. And she'd have probably find her father and kill him.

I'd actually have gone for evil Miranda. flemm and others can attest to my glee at the prospect of her turning on Shepard. But Oriana can simply vanish into the either if you prefer. Anything that nullifies her as a plot hook and forces Miranda as Cerberus to take center stage.

I'm really tempted to switch my cannon Shepard's playthrough so that Miranda doesn't talk to Oriana. The scene where they talk is heartwarming but emotional!Miranda gets a Heroic BSOD if Oriana's in trouble.

Odd, indeed.

This either the world's greatest misunderstanding, or is it a possible slip that Miranda may be a squadmate?

Unless Legion and Mordin also are, nope. Probably a new gun.

Where does what that says = squadmate status? lol

But it says exclusive to that character...

No, I don't think so.

She is in the game, as is everyone else. Not sure about the DLC, though. So... odd.

The romance in ME3 is all kinds of awesome.

As far as it goes, I agree it seems good. However, I also have concerns about the missing parts Image IPB

Mainly the fact that they are missing.

No, I mean she probably comes with an unlock code for a new gun, Garrus armor, etc.

It's confusing wording, but it could mean that, yeah, i.e. you get something that is exclusive to that particular figurine (not to the character in the game).

We've become very... careful around here.

Since the trainwreck back on page 750 or so, anyway Image IPB

Well, it would be difficult;t to apply that kind of minor DLC to non-squad characters. Though the DLC may be themed to that character: Cerberus armor for Miranda for instance.

The leak. That's not a precise page number, though. Whenever it was.

Edit: Anyway, all the figurines have that indication. So, whatever it is, it doesn't mean much.

The "updated photos" part is interesting, as is the "storyline" part, as that appears to be about the actual character.

But, obviously, that would be more interesting to have now than then Image IPB

Minor DLC is neat but I'd prefer a Loyalty Outfit variant of that figure.

Huh. Given how "moral ambiguity" is treated like it's covered in chocolate around here the underlined is almost refreshing. Kinda disturbing but refreshing.

Anyway, as to the find by the amazing Vertigo, I'd like to believe downloadable content somehow equates to some squad time but really, it could just be an additional assignment, or alternate outfit. Not exactly enough to make me jump for joy.
