Time to start on my Final ME2 Playthrough.

It will be on Insanity for the first time. Every mission will be completed. All will be Loyal and alive in the end. Falling in love with Miri, always will be Miri<3.

I feel sad, it'll be my last, to get ready for ME3. :(

Time to get ready for ME3, and make this ME2 Playthrough the best.

Good luck for your first insanity playthrough then ;) It is rather hard at the begining but you'll get used to it quickly .

Do not be sad, there is no time for nostalgia nowadays . In fact you should be glad, ME3 is getting closer and closer .

In passing, this part of the interview with Strahovski, which I didn't notice right away, makes me smile:

It's great to be able to do some voice work in my own native accent as well.

Just because I like the accent so much. Let's hope the present tense was a slip up Image IPB

Is there someone here who knows how to record gameplay using fraps?

I've been trying to record but fraps kept switching back to normal FPS reading.

Portrait excerpt:

[quote]Claire had been a success. Her older sisters had been genetic defectives I had been forced to discard. Some would call me cruel for that. Wasn't it enough to have circumvented my sterility and created a genetic child of my own? But if all I wanted was an infant to dandle on my knee, that were cheaper methods of getting one of those. To him who much is given, much will be required. I had been given much. Humanity needed heroes, now more than ever. We needed to be faster, stronger, and smarter if we were ever going to compete with the aliens. My children would be the first of this stronger humanity. There was no sense diverting resources away from those who would never succeed to those who could, even if they were my flesh and blood. I discarded Eve and Amanda to focus on Claire.

Claire hated me. I always knew she would hate me for driving her almost beyond endurance. Instead of tea parties, she had math lessons. Instead of friends, she had tutors. I never gave her birthday gifts the way other fathers did. She earned every present I ever gave her, and I earned her undying hatred. I have my reasons, even if she still didn't understand them. There was no achievement without adversity. Genetics were only the foundation; the traits must be nurtured to express properly. Genes controlled intelligence, but it was environment that determined whether that intelligence would be expressed in becoming a great scientist or making homemade bombs. So I drove her.

My only true mistake was the operation, but how could I turn down the chance to give my daughter that kind of power? Perhaps I should have discarded her. The pain limited her in ways I could never have dreamed. She was easily tired, and a hundred ordinary things were now beyond her. But a curious thing happened: I began to love her. So many would have simply given up after what happened to her, but Claire kept fighting. She completed every task I set for her. Far from weakening her, the pain had made her more inventive and determined than before. Whereas she once would have simply overpowered an opponent in a self-defense class, she now outthought them. She was the true heir I had conceived of when I began this project all those years ago.

And then she left. I knew she would. What kind of successor would she be if she simply endured my regimen? She outwitted my guards and defeated my security system. Clever girl. She went to Cerberus, just as I knew she would. My constant talk of needing to help humanity rubbed off on her after all. Someday, though, my brilliant darling girl would return to reclaim what was rightfully hers. Probably by killing me. That hardly mattered. The day she did was the day she vindicated everything I had ever done to make her what she was.

I never counted on her taking the spare with her.

Are you going to tell Miranda-

"I don't plan on dying again"

or

"No promises"

Good stuff, jtav. Reminds me a bit of some ideas we've discussed a time or two about the father expecting the whole thing to eventually come full circle.

Lost in the shuffle of all the trepidation about certain things is how interesting it will be to finally meet *spoiler character* in the actual game.

Just watched Attack of The Show's interview with Yvonne. More information on how Killer Elite is now on DVD, and the series finale of Chuck, but no ME3 information whatsoever.

For those that couldn't watch Yvonne Strahovski on AOTS on G4. You missed absolutely nothing.

Shame they didn't at least ask her, although I doubt her NDA would have run out today therefore, she would have given the same answer even if they did ask :P

That's disappointing, not that I really expected much.

True. No reason she would give another answer at this point.

I can imagine she must be tired of people asking her.

Did they ever give a date as to when the NDA is lifted?

Not that I'm aware, but presumably that would be whenever she is officially confirmed, such as when the VA list is released.

I can say with certainty that that's what is going to happen, once it's official as in the list/video is out that's when we can confirm it ourselves.

Just watched that Jimmy Kimmel interview. Hilarious anecdote about how a Chuck producer wanted her to change her name to "Yvonne Stryker." LoL.

Eh, I'm sure they were just worried that nobody would be able to remember "Strahovski." But "Stryker" is such a ridiculous suggestion.

Plus, given the devotion of Chuck fans, completely and comically unnecessary.

Getting off of this whole NDA discussion. What do you suppose is going to happen with Cerberus post-ME3? Taking out TIM might cripple the organization but there's potentially other cells and experiments laying around the galaxy. I'm sort of picturing a post-ME3 story where Shepard and Miranda hunt down the remaining cells to keep their work from falling into the wrong hands.
