It almost reminds me of Vanille, for some odd reason.

Blonde hair doesn't fit Miri.
Thank god. She was originally pegged as blonde, too, but then they made her white outfit.
Now that I look back at it, she didn't actually look that bad blonde. Given, her hairstyle was also different, so that might have been it. And it was just concept art, not a rendered in-game model.

I think she should have been blonde, if the engine had allowed it. For the very same racial connotations that originally made me grateful they didn't. They were going for a racial supremacy angle. Might as well go whole hog with it.

Errh, no.
They didn't change her hair color because of any racial connotations. They just decided she would look better brunette with her white Cerberus outfit and a different hair style.
And blonde can be well rendered in Unreal, just look at Anya in Gears 3.

I watched the PS3 Walkthrough of ME2 with the Interactive Comic. The Prologue with Miri talking to the Illusive Man was completely removed. Why? >:/
That's weird. I just started a veteran playthrough (Romancing Miranda, as always<3) with Genesis installed, and I saw her talk with TIM.

Yup this is it. It was perfect for Guardian. Not a great friendship path but not a horrible one either.

As far as info is concerned, see if you can find out who Miranda's new writer is
(Not really a serious request, I know you probably can't realistically do that.)

Never mind. It started with the prologue, BUT, the Illusive Man was narrating. That's a distraction.
I l<3ve hearing Miri say: "Shepard did everything right. More than we could have hoped for. Saving the Citadel, even saving the Council. Humanity has the trust of the entire galaxy, but still it's not enough...."
But all I heard for the PS3 was "Commander Shepard, uncovered the truth." WTF?

It's because of Genesis.
It annoyed the hell out of me too. It doesn't matter if you destroyed/saved the Council or not. Just having Genesis installed bypasses that dialogue.

You need to choose "It's nice to see you smile" in the LM debriefing. Anything else closes off the romance.IsaacShep wrote...
Miri experts, need a reminder. Which line post-loyalty nukes romance possibility with Miri? I remember it was one of the Neutral lines I think.

It's the friendship path for Miranda. (or as close as Shep can get to a friendship path). It's the middle option other than the renegade...something and the paragon "I can't compliment your body or your mind?"

We do know for sure that Miranda never felt for Jacob what she feels for Shepard. Otherwise, she would have been able to recognize those feelings. Instead we get, I don't know what this is. If this is stress, or blowying off steam, or..."CrutchCricket wrote...
Frankly I'm not even sure how he'd even get Miranda to care for him which is why I think their fling was mostly physical. Obviously they've still got a deep friendship going on, which is cool, even if I can't explain how it happened. But anything more is ridiculous.
I think it probrably happened because Jacob was one of those rare people who join Cerberus for the "right reasons". He doesn't hate aliens, he just wants to help humans and he pulls his own weight when on a mission. That migth have made him ok in Miranda's eyes.
It doesn't close off. Even if Miranda never says "The mission is too important to let personal feelings interfere", you can still activate the romance in the next conversation with her by choosing the usual options.Ieldra2 wrote...
