I imagine someone asking them :
Random Guy: " So, how do you met each other ? "
S: " Huu ..."
M: " He was dead, I spent two years bringing him back to life "
RG : " Oh, Okay ... that's unusual ... "

I'm not sure a prior romance was even possible, given Shepard's.... condition.

edit: Usually it's being embarassed by your parents in front of your girlfriend, but now it's your girlfriend embarassing you in front of your parents.

LoL, yeah, sorry, that wasn't very clear
I meant that it would be more similar to certain other types of stories if the two were already a couple (basically then it would be about love conquering death, but here it's just scientific expertise). And then the romantic attachment comes later.

Base romance is a no-go.

Miri was given that Beautiful classic Femme Fatale look. The dark hair fits Perfectly. I wonder if she will have shorter hair in ME3.

I'd say "Miranda is on the run."

If I had to take the romance as written, I'd be squicked because she resurrected him.

I'm sure it could work both ways . Poor Shepard, all of his little secrets will be revealed

Understandable but Miranda is not creating something. Unlike Frankenstein's monster, Shepard already had a mother, a personality, a life before Miranda came along. At most, she is restoring what was lost.jtav wrote...

It occurred to me about a year ago, so I started giving them a prior romance.

Miri and I killed it<3.

How far in are you?
I just finished Miranda's loyalty mission on my HC playthrough. Only one I did so far.

I just Started it. This is my Last ME2 Playthrough before ME3. And it is my first Insanity Playthrough.

That Shepard grows from project to person in Miranda's eyes, is another detail that the other romances just don't have.

I used to not understand the SB dossier, but I see now that this is largely what it is about.

Wait, where in the SB dossier does it ever go over Shepard/Lazarus?

The video log is Miranda (and Jacob) prepping for recovery of Shepard's body. Then the file starts with Miranda studying Shep/Saren and other things, and eventually switching over to more relationship-oriented stuff.
It's more complicated than that, but a big element of it is exactly what JB articulated there.

Oh. I haven't seen that video yet then. Do you need to do anything/wait a certain amount of time to unlock it?

I don't find that reading persuasive. I think it's just bad writing.
