I disagree. Wrex may be a visionary, but he's only one krogan and he has a limited lifespan even if he doesn't get killed by other krogan. I would never restore fertility to the pre-rebellion level, since I wouldn't trust the krogan to keep their population in check.

That's why I said we should reduce the severity of the Genophage, not cure it.
Besides, it's possible that now that there is a new superpower(humans) to join forces with the turians and the krogans know we can re-esterilize them just as easily if they get out of line, they will behave. I don't expect them to change their culture overnight, but they will probrably think twice before attacking a Council colony.

Why the hell did BioWare make ME3 so that it would be that way? I don't want to see Wrex, Garrus, Tali, Kaidan, and Liara everywhere I step! I don't want to be stuck in another SR1!

The SM prevented the developpers from fully involving the ME2 cast in ME3 I guess ... Therefore they had to pick characters up who couldn't be dead .
This is very lame and disappointing to me, the ME2 cast is far better ( Miranda, Mordin, Legion ) than the ME1 cast .
I like a few characters like Wrex, but I don't love them like the ones I've just mentionned before .
There is still room for hope regarding the ME2 cast nonetheless .
I've digested the fact that most of them won't be on the squad but also, it sucks insofar as we won't fully enjoy the new squad dialogue system inside the Normandy .

GRRRRR! I don't want to be stuck with ME1 Characters on my ship. I THOUGHT that BIOWARE said that NO ONE is Permanent! Which means, GTFO of my ship and give room!

I think you can tell some characters not to join your squad, if that makes you feel better about this . I'm not completely sure ( can someone confirm this please ? ) but if that is the case, I'll tell a few of them to get off my ship .
They indeed said that, people from your squad can die or leave if they need to ,but all in all, they must have made a core squad which is likely to be composed of characters from the ME1 squad .

Does BioWare not notice the fact that there ARE ME2 Romancers out there? So far they are only pampering the ME1 Characters/LIs/Romancers. I mean, you see Mordin, BUT he's not in your Squad.

What, were all the the ME2 Exclusive Characters just dead weight to the Devs? Were they just something the Devs just placed in the story of ME2 just to keep the ME1 Freaks quiet, as if the ME2 Exclusive Characters have 0 importance what so ever?

Sure they know. I don't have the faintest idea why none of the ME2-exclusive characters made it onto the team, but that they can die in ME2 has probably played a big part in the decision. Generally I'm more annoyed at the preferential treatment of Garrus and Tali - who can also die. I think the necessity for some recurring non-humans on the team was a primary reason for that.

I for one do NOOOTTTT want to be stuck with ME1 Characters in my Squad AND  on the Normandy throughout the ENTIRE game. It'll end up like that dark, and boring Normandy SR1 all over again!!

Technically speaking, we aren't. There will be three new characters in a team of seven, maybe four in a team of eight depending on who the DLC character is. It's just the ME2-exclusives who got the short end of the stick. But that's all old news. We'll have to live with it and hope that at least Miranda's story will be good.

You mean the ME2 characters are are not going to be in our squad on certain missions at all? That's not fair, it's bull ****!

Well, from a narrative standpoint, you do need main characters to anchor the story. I have no real problem with six of the seven, even if none of them are my favorites. If things are very bad for Miranda, I'll kill her more often, write a few stories to fix it, and move on to another fandom or a different subset of ME. I'm not a very loyal person.

Well, you can always ignore the ME1 character, and use only the new ones, that's what I'll do. So far the only squaddies that I'm thinking to use are VS, Vega and spoiler character 1.

I cherish the ME2 Characters, I played ME2 first. What BioWare is doing is serious bull****! I don't give a damn about new characters. I don't care if the Characters in ME2 would have died. BioWare STILL could have given more time for ME2 Characters, instead of just pampering and milking the loyal ME1 nerds!

It isn't right that not one ME2 character is allowed in our Squad for at least one or two missions.

That's essentially what's happening, and don't expect much in terms of story DLC for ME2 characters.

It's not essential, it's torture. I want to be able to have a chance to have Miri, and others in my squad during certain Missions. I give a **** if this is a "War" as CH CONTINUES to say. He's started to sound like a complete hypocrite. He says that no one is Permanent because it's a "War," yet look what's happening. While all the little ME1 fans enjoy all there fun play time with the ME1 Characters, we players who Cherish ME2 more are stuck in the benches in sadness.

Yeah i'm going to be giving them abuse for the broken squadmate system even if by some miracle i find the final Miranda's story to be much more satisfying. Little variety and the their idea of choice is to drive a coach and horses through the roster to ensure Tali & Garrus are in. New characters don't seem very inspiring to me either. Just hoping i can play through the game without the weak squad butting their oars in repeatedly.

So it's true, I was right. No ME2 Character will be in our Squad for ANY Mission what so ever. I can't take that. Goddammit I can't!

You know what I'm just going to be a complete ass to all of the ME1 characters who try to say something to me in ME3. Congrats BioWare, you've made me change to Renegade.

I want my ME2 Squad back. I don't care how it happens. BioWare should have thought of that before just looking at all the damn ME1 Freaks.

@MassEffectFanforlife: It's Bioware. What did you expect? They've been making lots of stupid decisions when it comes to their games as off lately.

That's it, where's the closets Mod? Cuz I don't even care if they Postpone the release of ME3. I feel like we've been duped.

Just finished my last ME1 run before ME3. Got ninjamanced by Ashley for the first time in four years - I spoke with her exactly once before the locker scene! I wonder what triggers the romance.

If you don't tell her she's out of line when she talks about aliens on the Normandy, the romance is flagged as active for male Shepards.

To keep my post related to Miranda, the Miranda Lawson tag on tumblr is worth checking out, if you haven't tried it - lots of beautiful .GIFs and screens from the game. Though sometimes, you will have to dig a little. (I'd share some that I found but I don't want to repost anything without permission.)

You're taking a b*tch-fit right now. It's not bullsh*t, it makes sense. Although I don't like how they made Garrus and Tali squadmates in ME3 only because they're popular. That's the only thing that rubs me the wrong way.

So What? You're not even going to give the new characters a chance? All because what? Miranda isn't a squadmate? I for one, will be giving all the new characters a chance, the same way I had to do when ME2 rolled into town with a sh*t load of new squadmates and the VS was nowhere to be found. At the end of the day, you're still getting better treatment than Horizon. And pampering the ME1 loyal nerds? Seriously? Coming from you?

I suggest you suck it up. It's not the end of the world.

Well that's another problem: BioWare is under a stupid impression that every player has played ME1 first when it came out in 2008. Wrong, there are also players who played ME2 first, and quite possibly didn't want to play ME1 at all.

MEFan - relax. They've admitted that they screwed the pooch with the Suicide Mission plot of ME2, but yelling at the devs isn't going to change a thing, apart from you possibly getting banned.

We've been scammed, it's not right that only on part of the fanbase gets what they want.

ME3 was supposed to be good for EVERY player, whether they Played ME1 or ME2 first, or never wanted to play ME1 and just play ME2.

They are under no such impression. And as much as your bashing it, I bet you have played ME1. A lot of players have. Not every player has played ME2 either. There's always ways to work around it.

And would you believe that I was one of those players who played ME2 first? Then went back and play ME1?
