Don't know about the hair. If they feel really good about their improvements in that area, might be longer. But short hair is a possibility as well.

Well, I'm really curious about the look(s). I expect it will be a significant change.

I pray you never become a designer.
Why does the change need to be significant?

I think that invoking the power of the divine is probably unnecessary to accomplish this
At any rate, I am not speaking primarily of my own desires, but rather of expectations.

Short hair would be a turnoff on a physical level, sorry to say.
Well, to each her/his own. I'd potentially be fine with it.

I heard they did something to allow hair to flow in the wind.
That'd be interesting to see. I didn't think Unreal could handle flowing hair (Or flowing fabric) very well.

I will LMAO if her hair is suddenly in a bun. Or bald for that matter. However, while it wouldn't surprise me if they have decided to flip-flop expectations a bit with Ashley and Miranda's new looks, I don't think it will be quite so blatant as to have Miranda wearing a bun.
She might have her hair up, though, or short.

Do you guys think that Miri will look different in ME3, or will BioWare just slack off?
I think her clothes will look different (Obvious reasons), but they shouldn't mess with her hair or face that much.
I sort of want her hair tied back when she's on the battlefield. While her ME2 hairstyle was nice I was always confused how the heck Miranda was able to fight without her hair getting in her eyes. As for the outfit, I'm sort of thinking something less conspicuous than her old Cerberus suit something along the lines of Juno Eclipse from the original Force Unleashed game

I was thinking about an outfit like that. I even tried to draw Miri with something similar, but with a One-Piece underneath, but I think I have to start over.

It would take some SERIOUS effort on BW's part to screw Miranda's appearance.
Like, LJN levels of effort.

I don't mind, depends on how it's done right. It might look great, but I highly doubt Bioware going that route, to me at least, Miranda fans prefer that hairstyle or one similar, nothing too drastically different. It depends on her personality and how she presents herself as well again, knowing me I'll give another Jack example. She could rock any "punk/rocker" type hair style because of the way she presents herself, while Miranda could rock her current hair, pony-tail for sure and maybe a form of short hair.

Or maybe BioWare would just keep her with the same outfit and everything. Jack was the only one in the ME3 part of the Art Book anyway.<_<
Maybe not the same outfit, but something similar.
I personally wouldn't mind another spy suit-esque garb like she had in ME2.

Well, I think that Miranda's appearance is controversial enough, even among her fans, that there is ample room to work. Whatever it is, it will be much-debated, I'm sure.
As long as Strahovski is the face and voice, I don't think there will be much backlash over a change in hairstyle.
It depends partly on the theme of the redesign. Certain aspects of the leaked material, and other things, make me think that the theme might be "scientist" this time around for Miranda, with Ashley moving a bit more toward Miranda's original "covert ops" look now that she is a Spectre. But, even if that's right, it really doesn't say much about the hair.

As a fan of short hair as a rue, I'd be infavor of it. I'm just not sure how this would play out with her face and overall design being so central to the idea of being the "perfect woman." I think a lot of her fans would revolt if they cut her hair short.

I figured that since she is on the run, and since this is a war, she wouldn't dress as formal like in ME2. I mean, she was in Uniform in ME2. Now that she is not part of Cerberus (for me), or quitting in ME3 (for others), wouldn't her outfit look as if it is beat up, or something less formal?
Dressing formally wouldn't really matter anymore.
I certainly don't think it would be "beat up" looking. She's on the run, not a bum.

Well, it's not as if that is necessarily a major concern. Part of the reason to do a redesign, in fact, would be for it to be a bit controversial (look at Ashley).
This would be easy to do with Miranda, so I'll be a little surprised if they don't try to get a complete WTF? reaction from everyone when we first see her.
Anyway, I have no idea about the hairstyle, but if it's short, it won't surprise me, and I'd potentially even be quite happy with it as a change.

You know what I mean, beat-up because of the more VIOLENT firefights, she'd be in. And, even though this is very painful to think about, doesn't Miri get captured by Leng and tortured. Oh god, it's unbearable!

you fail to warn her of Leng

Actually, no, I think that's wrong. After you first meet Leng, but before "Spoiler location", if I'm not mistaken.
