Indeed she can be very harsh as well . Miranda tends to be very aggresive when she is pissed .
To some extend I found it more " elegant " than what Ash says . She doesn't ridicule Jack by using irony .
It is straightfoward like a punch to the face rather than a shot to the back .

I can imagine some fierce retaliations from Miranda if you cheat on her . Firstly toward the other woman and secondly to Shepard .  :P
As she says " you're mine " .

At least Miranda is honest about it, as brutal as it may be.

And what soulless monster would dare cheat on Miranda? Their head will be mine! *Wags finger in the air*

If foolish enough to cheat on her, Miri would probably tear you apart. If you apologies and if she forgives you, she'd still threaten to tear you apart, in a nice/calm way, if you do it again.

Well, none of the ME3 girls tempt me with the possible exception of Tali. I wouldn't feel guilty though, as it's a similar situation moving from ME1 to ME2.

I'm considering it. I mean how would she know, she's not there. But going back to Ashley seems a bit backwards now.

Indeed.

As if I needed more soldier characters (Garrus and Vega are enough, and Vega is the new tank of the squad).

Actually, the only Sentinel-esque characters I can think of are Kaidan and Miranda. I killed Kaidan. I guess I'm not going to have any Sentinels on the squad anymore, save Shepard.

Garrus is an infiltrator (at least he was in ME1), but I'm considering now possibly leaving Ash on Virmire on my MShep canon run. Never done it before, so I'm a little unsure about it. Have taken out Saren before during the Battle of the Citadel with Wrex and Garrus, so I don't actually need her.

Miri does say something if in a love triangle in ME2 (which I'm NEVER in, Screw that. Just Miri, Thank You Very Much!).

Does anyone have a link to both of the ways Miri mentions this?

I consider him to be a soldier in ME2 (Conc. Shot and AP Ammo). And unless I'm wrong, ME2 infiltrator's don't have Overload.

Can you tell me? the only love triangle I've started was Miranda (romanced) then Tali (Told me to break up with Miranda).

And that was on accident.

I thought I was just being friendly, but nope, Tali considered me asking her how she was doing after her exile to be hitting on her.

I put her in her place.

No, we don't. To be fair though none of thoe classifications work since the loadouts and available powers that you can get for different classes don't correspond to the crew members.

The line IIRC is "everyone needs to know that you're mine" while I understand that Miranda can be blunt at times, this is a little too much.

I don't know why, but I find that line funny, if those are the words she says.

Then again, I haven't heard her say it, so I can't really judge from the lack of tone.

I admit it is a little too much, but when I heard it I was like :  " Possessive hu ? I love it ! " :P .
Basically she implies that all of the other female suitors can go f*** themselves .

Possessiveness can be hot. Jealousy isn't. It's the difference between "you're mine" and "everyone needs to know that you're mine"

It would make more sense if she says it after someone else hits on YOU.

*Imagines that happening*

Tali: Hey Shepard... Can you come here for a second? I could use your help to clean these engines out *wink*.

Shepard: *Looks around awkwardly* *Scratches head*

Miranda: Shepard, everyone needs to know that you're mine.

I thought it was fitting it spoke to the core of the character. It was forceful, possessive and intended to be intimidating. She invested emotion and time into Shepard, and to play second chair is not something she would take lightly. In fact I'd go so far as  saying that Miranda wouldn't let someone go or be "done" with them until she decided so.

To think that Shepard could appeal to her, someone with a grand image of herself, and also be interested in Jack --A mad person in her view who has many problems to the point of being the epitome of defunct-- or Tali --Someone she probably considers insignififcant or of very little consequence to their work-- might be quite the insult.

So I think there are a few thoughts and emotions fueling those remarks.

Agreed. How much it actually speaks to the "core" of the character is, I think, debatable, but I agree that this is the basic meaning of that particular line. It's hard to construe the comment as being motivated by jealousy, I think, but rather by a desire for dominance/control. It's sort of Miranda's... alpha female side.

I agree with that .
Moreover, she won't let him get away now that she fully assumes her feelings for him, that she wants and can have him .

Well Jack's my true favorite so I can understand how other people would see her. And whether you like Tali or not its very hard to deny that she's effectively the "kid" on the Normandy and I'm rather certain Miranda would see her as much.

Jacob: Tali needs a work station with full intranet access to run diagnostics on the...

Miranda:Put her in the engine, EDI can keep an eye on her there, make sure she doesn't break anything important.

Forget Alpha Female, she was the Alpha Human before Shepard woke up, and now she's forced into the position of XO when she was basically the commander. I doubt that she'd want to relinquish any more standing than she's already had to. That and there's the whole thing losing to someone else, I don't think I need to point how much she wouldn't not allow this.

@android 2nd paragraph

At least I can head-canon Miranda as being Shepard's equal.
