"Meet the Team" trailers made sense in ME2 because the team was the story. In ME3, this is no longer the case, the focus would have to be on the Reaper Invasion. For example, show a location everyone is familiar and then show what happens when the Reapers get there, which is pretty much what they did with the "London" trailer.
Bioware has already stated that they are trying to keep spoilers out of marketing which I believe is a good decision.

Well there's Shepard, Liara, The VS, Vega, and one other squadmate they coudl reveal in trailers without revealing story info. But they could do something akin to the earth invasion trailer with Nigel if they wanted to. It doesn't account for the lack of content.

You've got a point ME2 had some bad ass trailers

It also does a very good job of summarizing the characters and it reminded me of how amazing Jack was when I first played the game.

Jack's made me go "Wow! She's a badass!". I'll be honest though, I was a bit underwhelmed in-game. I think she looked better CG than in-game. Not saying she looks bad in-game, just better CG.

Miranda's is still my favorite.

Well everyone looks better in the CGI trailers because its CGI. Even Shepard looks a bit less douchey in the CGI trailer.

I dunno. I think Thane looks better in-game than in the trailer. In the trailer his skin looks... Moist. Like a frog. Even though the drell are supposed to thrive in dry and arid areas. Same with Miranda, but obviously for different reasons.

Not so sure Ill want more information TBH, I know I gotta be the minority on this topic. If you look back at ME2 story it was actually really... short and shallow imo.  But the gameplay gave it weight.  I feel the story will be narrow like that again, and I also feel any tidbit from them and I might accidentally piece something together or something. I wanna be a me3 virgin ha

Since this is the "Last" of the series, BioWare should at least make some kind of an "Epic" Trailer before the Release, similar for trailers of last installments for a film series.
Examples: Star Wars Episode 3, LOTR, Return of the King, Harry Potter!

Its just for a few credits and some P/R points. They aparently were "cut-outs" for a Cerberus mission a few years back

Yeah. I'm suprise Casey Hudson himself can't see how this Colossal Thread has grown now. This proves how much a lot of us want something already! O_O

That's not off topic.

On topic: IIRC, they were in Galaxy.

They're from "ME: Galaxy", Jacob's game, Miranda is in it.
Yeah, Jacob has a game all for himself. It's crappy but still... unbelievable.

Nice pic.

From the Pre-ME2 app called Mass Effect: Galaxy
It's the one with Jacob as the main character who works with Miranda in order to stop a terrorist plot against the Council

Especially considering in Galaxy, Jacob had no personality.

Yet he still had more than he does in ME2.

Bioware logic: If lots of people love a great new character, screw them over and shaft the character so bad it's ridiculous.

If lots of people love an overrated character that's been around for no good reason since the start, bring them back with much fanfare and mollycoddle those fans.

Well, recklessness and incompetence don't really change much, in terms of what she advises and so on.

The hero does grow on her, though Image IPB

That's complete bull****. Like I said once before: it doesn't matter if the ME2 Characters could have died in the SM. BioWare should give them as equal WELL earned treatment as the damn ME1 Characters for God's sake!
