Hey, hey, hey... Take it easy on Jacob. Yeah he's boring and has more ab definition than interest in his own life, but he's an ok guy. Hell he's even a stand up guy, otherwise he and Miranda wouldn't have had a history that I still wager was very emotional.
You don't need to lie to yourself.

I'm serious, you can read the tension between those two, they separated but felt like there were many unresolved feelings. Actually I'd like to see an unromanced Miranda and Jacob get back together at the end of ME3, I kind of like the idea of them as a couple.

A pre-shep miri. and jacob. emotional.
HA
I dont see that.
Pretty sure the only thing between them, was distance. She was there. He was there. She got bored, he got gone. Still didnt understand during me2

That drawing makes my picture look extremely crappy.

I interpreted the scene after his LM as Miranda closing that chapter of their lives. Things happened between them, they separated but she still had that promise to fulfill. Now it was done, time to move on.

Honestly, the way Miranda never acknowledges the entire thing makes me kind of agree.

What? She's unromanced, got no Shepard, and no problems before her and has someone with whom she has history who's clearly got feelings clinging on to. Why not? What have got against Jacob? It's not like its outside the realm of responsibility, it already happened.

I don't think she mentions it because like Samara said, "Her pain is her own." And once she starts something with Shepard... Well I don't need to lecture adults on how its bad etiquette to talk about past lovers with a new one.

It couldn't be her complete lack of acknowledgement, or the way Jacob is clinging onto it.
This. Like I said the only thing that brought them together was distance. Miri got bored. Jacob didn't understand.

Kill it with fire. Or better yet, nuke it from orbit. Only way to be sure, apparently.

Kaidan seriously? He wasn't even a beta male he was gamma easily, he's not good enough for Ashley let alone Miranda.

I like jacob a lot. Like the one well adjusted teammate we get. Hes a Battle bro for my shep for sure. But he has no personality and as far as him and miri go- theres just no way. Infact thinking its a good idea, makes me wonder about your grasp on miri and jacob. I mean that with no offense, but its still true. (i like your posts and stuff.)

I got a question for all you think it's a done deal that Miranda won't be your squad mate in ME 3 or do you think they might turn her into DLC squadmate?
done deal. But it makes me happy. her being there would warp the plot around shep and miri too much. If they stayed true to there characters. And by her only being in a mission gives me hope.

For now? I doubt it. There's no way to know if they'll respond to fan pressure after its released and put something out, but its the end of a trilogy, I don't see much need to do a story based DLC, it would be a testament to the fact that they didn't do a good job on its story. That would be worse than what we have so far.
As for Miranda and Jacob, I just got on that train and its never derailing. Never Derailing

I don't know. If you ask me I think you're going off the rails... possibly on a crazy train.
For myself I don't see any of the other characters we've seen so far as a good match for Miranda. If not Shepard it will be someone unknown down the line who eventually gets her: the very gallant Sir Not-Appearing-in-This-Series
Oh and to the guy who drew the Chuck comparisons: nice. Although I would say it's even more doomed than Sarah/Bryce because Bryce was actually interesting (even if extremely annoying in how he kept getting in the way)

I can see how things got quicky staled between Miranda and Jacob because he just as guarded about his feelings as she is. He couldnt manage to express how he felt (same as he is in his romance with Shep) and she saw getting it out of him as a waste of time.
As unimpressive as many consider it to be, Miri's relation with Jacob is part of her story. Maybe she simply saw it as easier with her heavy schedule and the secrecy of her work to date him instead of looking for someone outside of her work environment. Or maybe it was as a no-strings-attached that turned sour.
