It's unnecessary though. Someone else has done it already. Just youtube it if you want to see what happens.

I'm sure jtav was more or less referring to ME3 and how that would play our if Miranda is dead from the start.

But I agree. Just youtube it.

If you like the character, then I don't think you'd want to kill him/her off just to see 1 outcome. Not judging you, but I disagree on it. Feel free to do whatever you want.

edit: first post on new page--

Not gonna know that until the game comes out and unless you plan on making that your first run, again you can youtube it. Hell even if it is your first run chances are someone beat you to it.

I meant a fanfic actually. I finally come up with an idea that's catchy, with a well-defined plot and lots of opportunities for character development. All I had to do was kill her. Though I am anticipating playing through Miranda being dead at least once, that's mostly because Miranda's role in the leak is a mess, and the version where she's dead is coherent.

If you're just doing it to write a fanfic...

Then by all means, go ahead. I won't read it.

If you're going to play through with Miranda dead, then at least give her "living" equivalent a shot, since we haven't seen it in execution yet.

Stars.Her eyes look like stars.

I'm about to start my "Miranda died" game. Anyone want to take bets on whether I can go through with it?

And is it wrong that the story I'm most excited about requires her death?

I think you can go through with it. I wouldn't be able to though.
As for whether or not it's wrong, personally, I say whatever floats your boat.

As I said. We grow cheesy on this one. But it's so true [/quote]

No bets, but yes, I find it slightly disturbing. I hope ME3 will make you reconsider.

This is Cyrus Shepard, you've seen his picture before and I like him. I didn't try to make him look like anyone - even if I knew Jason Statham, which I don't. This is perhaps a better picture, from an earlier playthrough:

I don't think he looks like Vin Diesel or Jason Statham. He's just rockin the Bald of Awesome.... unless the implication is that all bald dudes look like Diesel or Statham or Bruce Willis.

Since we're into sharing I present the aptly named victory.png:

Hey now, ain't nothin' wrong with a little bit of cheese about being attached to a person -- even if it's a fictional character.

@ your picture-

>5'oclock shadow
>Manly face
>Must be Bruce Willis.

Why is there not a "Yippee kye yay, motherfu*ker" line in the game?

^ My Screenshot. I love doing this after the SM, and after every "Epilogue" Mission (Overlord, LOTSB, and Arrival)<3.

I've started playing ME1 again and went with the default Shepard. I'm going to try to make him just for Ashley but it's damn near hard to resist Miranda come ME2.

This brings up a I've been meaning to ask. Do you guys have a roleplaying way to avoid doing Arrival until after the SM. I like roleplaying the characters and while I can pretend I didn't get the Shadow Broker intel, I have no idea how to pretend Shep didn't see the giant Hackett head.

Well, both Arrival and LotSB are "assumed" by the game to have happened AFTER the SM.

Just don't check your mail.

IIRC, you can check your mail up at your cabin and it wont trigger the Arrival cutscene.

Simple, saving colonists supersedes the need to rescue one reseacher. She can wait while I kill the collectors.

After Horizon, Ashley can go to hell.

Miranda may be cold and disconnected, but her romance feels more genuine, and she never accused me of being a traitor.

edit: She's also not racist.

I would've preferred to have a Shepard with hair. But the hairstyles all look like sh*t or boring. It was hard enough to find a nose that doesn't look like a radioactive vegetable from space.

Agree about the snuggle pic...

But if the evidence Kenson found is convincing enough, the council might finally acknowledge the Reaper threat and preparing the galaxy for their arrival is more important than saving those colonies.

Avoiding the romance does suck. That one conversation where you can say "nice to see a person to see a person under there" sucks. Fortunately I only did it once. My Liara alternate Shep is a girl so. Image IPB

Killing first, helping later. I'm a busy Shepard and I have priorities.

This. My SHeps don't care about saving one researcher. But an immenient Reaper invasion concerns him very much.
