Not when she randomly blurts it out while on the Citadel -- Which she does.

When does this happen?

Well there is that one line Shepard says to Ashley on Horizon that I like. "You're letting your feelings get in the way of facts." Or something along those lines. I understand her dislike for what the aliens did to her grandfather... She's(Ashley) letting her dislike or distrust Cerberus...  getting in the way of doing the right thing... (stopping the Collectors) by any means necessary.

Even Tali didn't help Shepard in the beginning. "Not even for you Shepard." Wow. That spoke volumes. When I replayed freedoms progress.

To swing this back around to Miranda. She's impressed with the mission. "This has been the best I've been a part of." (loosely worded) I always tell Miranda because it isn't a Cerberus operation but his own. hah!

My favorite part is when she says "Well what if it's Cerberus who's working with the Collectors?".

Now, I'm against violence towards women, but that made me want to smack her.

Because a pro-human group would totally go to kidnap tens of thousands of human colonists, for no apparent reason other than "for teh lulz"

Banter while you're walking around the Citadel.

I'm not sure if you have to be on a certain ward or not.

I just noticed something after playing through ME2 200 or more times.

Jacob is the only one to give his opinion on the mission and squad status.

We don't take kindly to ME3 talk around these parts.

I know about ME3 and *Spoiler location*

I'm not taking that into account, as the devs hadn't written it into the plot while they were still making ME2.

Well, I agree that attributing the disappearance of so many colonists is a bit of a stretch. But Cerberus HAS abducted hundreds of humans for biotic experiments and killed dozens of marines as well.

So it's a stretch yeah. But pro-human or not, Cerberus has killed a buttload of humans.

Colonists, refugees, irony.
Cerberus ME3 army. Wasn't that what you were referring to?

I Love what Miri says to the VS on Horizon when they say, "what if it's Cerberus who's working with the Collectors?"

She says "Typical Alliance attitude..." I forgot the rest for some reason. Anyone care to enlighten?

Well, she will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think jtav did a double take on the "but I wanted to smack her" part, which I understand was just an expression, but I thought it best to note that I prefer that we not use that type of imagery in the thread.

IIRC, it's [...] "You're so focused on Cerberus you're not willing to see the bigger picture"

Even if they did, they did it for a reason.

A terrible and atrocious reason, but for a reason nonetheless.

And they had never taken tens of thousands of colonists in bulk.

"You're so focused on Cerberus that you're blind to the real threat".
More poetic.

Ah, yes.

Worded better, also.

And honest, if a bit brutal.

Blunt, honest, and to the point.

What's not to like?

edit: Actually, the above can be attributed to the rest of Miranda as well. again, what's not to like?

We've already discussed about this with "clearly you were a mistake" she says to Jack but indeed, she is frank . Another aspect I love about her among a bunch of others .

If she has a problem with someone, that person will be aware of it, nicely or not .

That's one of my favorite aspects of her psyche. She's not afraid to be brutal and up-front about it.

If you **** up, you'll know.
