Man, I really can't go that far with any particular character. I like them all, albeit to varying extents of course. Miranda's like... 10% of my enjoyment in ME2, and hell, I post here (relatively) often.

She's definitely my favorite part of the game, but not 100% of it.

Needless to say I would not play it nearly as much if she weren't in it. I'd still play it once or twice to experience it, but then I'd toss it in the bargain bin.

Nah, She's 100% for me, you have NO idea.

I had no LI in ME1, and I NEVER will. In my Mass Effect Story, I find Love in ME2. ME2 is also a Love Story to me as well.

Yeah the FF movie really dropped the ball. And I had just rediscovered the 90s cartoon. So many missed opportunities when it comes to the Silver Surfer...

I wouldn't go so far as to call it a love story.

An action-sci fi with romance interwoven, yes, but not a love story.

Thankfully in ME3 Shepard appears to be even more "In love" with Miranda than he already is. I can't wait to see how the new romance dialogues will play out.

android: Not trying to argue your headcanon but, honestly, I do believe you are understimating how Miranda feels for Shepard. Once all her romantic conversations have been done, her "I'm busy" line changes.
"Do you have a minute, Miranda?
Always. I'm tying a few loose ends for Cerberus. We haven't had much free time lately but I haven't forgotten..."

And let's not forget what Liara says:
"She was so cold when I first met. Completely focused on her duty.
I'm not sure she has lightened up that much.

Does this means that Miranda is now a less driven person who wants to accomplish less? No (and I would not want it to) but it definitively shows that Miranda has now something else in her life besides work and I think she would try hard to make sure their relationship functions. Just like I think Miranda would try to find free time to extablish a relationship with Oriana.

I think a lot of the romance between the two is added by the circumstances under which they met. Its hard to gauge how busy Miranda would be in a relationship under more calm situations. They way she was in ME2 I imagine her being the same way after ME3 Beau wouldn't get that since he's looking for something of substance even after defeating the Reapers.

Miranda wants to be more open on some level but I don't think she'd know how and Beau would try for a time but ultimately time would run its course and so would they. She Kasumi, and Jacob in Space and Beau back in Paris trying to find that meaning with someone else.

So while there may be a change in her person casued by him, its not enough to change the person she is, which she would need to be in order to be in a full fledged relationship with him.

I don't know if Miranda and Ashley will meet, but there's (I don't think this is spoiler material) some catty dialogue given from Ashley to Shepard.

I'm talking about that part of the Story, between Miri and I. A Story within a Story. I don't don't even consider it a subplot. I consider Miri's Romance and Story THE MOST VITAL part of ME2 for me, one of my Top Priorities....hell, even my #1 Priority<3:wub:.

And no, if we met another "good" geth it wouldn't be the same as Legion, at least, not outright. Legion isn't hooked into the geth network while aboard te Normandy, so any non-Legion geth don't know anything about what Shepard and Legion talk about.

2. giving a scenerio that I enjoyed, I didnt say hey, lemon this be for you. And now Im defending it from what I know. More than that, I question a lot of peoples reading comp. No offense.

3. Uh. If people are driving, and follow the rules of stop signs, they make appear similiar but they arent the same person. Thats basically my arguement here.  Its infered that each reaper is a past civilization, a nation of minds, independent but tied together, "somehow." Just because there both elusive, doesnt mean there a hive mind or an extact copy of each other. There perspective is above ares.  Itd be like humans, were on a street. And couple blocks down we see an accident. Now we might be hoping that someone helps them, or wonder if anyone else has noticed, but we cant see that good. Because are perspective is one way. Now the reapers are on the roof of a building were standing next to. They can see the accident, see help coming to the scene, and there thoughts spent only seconds taking in a scene we may take in for awhile. We may even walk down there and check it out. There perspective is above us in so many ways.

But Crutch is right. Matt was born out of my dissatisfaction with ME2 Shep. So he's less outsized, is a reluctant hero, and will show doubt in Miranda's presence. His reward is his work. Similarly, Lawrence was created after a good long look at the leak, He still doesn't want power, but I'll give him a pass because of something spoileriffic.
