I am.
Well for a few characters. I think monogamy only works for the short term for most people and long term relationships tend to lose their passion. This is why people date for twenty years or so before they get married, few relationships last in the long term. With the exception of Liara and perhaps Ashley I can't honestly say many of the ME LI's would be long term.

What I don't get is only romancing her, and especially feeling dirty if you don't. The MShep that isn't Matt will dump her in ME3 because I want to try the s/s option. I refuse to believe this is horrible.

With the expection of Liara (Who shows genuine interest in you from the start and can "do it" with any species), none of the other female LI's are easily considered long term. A fair number of them (Miranda included), it's mostly dependant on how BioWare interprets them in ME3 and personal head canon.

Except Tali, what with their different immune systems. She's the only romance I see not going anywhere, no matter how they try to pretty it up. They can't eat the same food, they can't "do it" without the risk of her dying, they can't really do anything together besides sit and watch TV. I mean, Shepard is a military man and Tali is a mechanic and engineer. She could fix his car, but not much else.

Then again, the head canon thing can be completely reversed for all of the romances.

Actually, they can eat the same food; CDN brought up some kind of suppressant that allows it. It's true that it doesn't provide nutrition and it has to be eliminated later, but it's something. And given that quarians still can adapt their immune systems, any risk from sex would steadily, if slowly, shrink.

In regards to my 2 canon play throughs (Which was what I was talking about earlier), I would not begin to think of cheating on Miranda.

If it were a "what-if" type deal or a play through I didn't consider to be my canon, I wouldn't care.

Kai Leng is badass and not ugly. He qualifies. And if the fandom weren't so Shep-centric, I'd have plenty of Kai Leng/Miranda to look forward to.
