Miranda has also spent two years learning everything about him, she brough him back to life and they have been fighting side by side for some time now. She even went so far as to share her views regarding what her father has done with her with Shepard
Even if they are not that close just yet, I'd not say Shepard is a stranger at that point.

I'm talking about the Renegade option after Miri says "I don't know what this is. If this is stress, or just blowing off steam or..."

Yes, I like the Paragon line there. Miranda needs to be told that she has value and can take pride in her accomplishments until she actually believes it. My problem lies strictly with the flirting.
@bold- And that's why I like the paragon line.

If you renegade that then the relationship is called off.

In a normal situation, I also don't think Miranda would respond favorably to compliments. She probrably heard them all a dozen times before. However, Shepard was not telling her how beautiful she was. He was incentivizing her to take pride in her sucesses which was what was paining her at the moment. Judging by her reaction, she clearly appreciated it.
Compliments about your person from a stranger (Which SHepard kind of is at that point) kind of rings hollow. I think after the flag is checked, if he starts consoling her on her father issues and things of the like, it might ring a bit more true.
No...
Just no.

Just no.
I do conversations after every mission so that one about "your spirit and personality are what makes you great" comes off way too early thats the line I'm refering to. Thats was poorly added in.

Meh. Renegade Shepard can let a factoryfull of workers burn to death, personally slaughter a colony village...MisterJB wrote...
Yes, we get it. You hate Shepard so much that you'd rather Miranda be with a guy who slit the throat of a defenseless asari just before drugging a man who was on rehab with the drug he used to be addicted to. Thank you for the clarification.android654 wrote...
I think with enough enlightenment of one another Miranda and Leng could work out. If anything you should be more embarrassed of her being with Shepard since he has very little personality.

That line isn't a part of the romance.
That's Shepard just being nice.

Surely, what woman wouldn't be dripping at the panties for a man like him?
Aside from Kelly, I mean.
The only people who could give him any competition are maybe... Hitler, or Pol Pot.

Paragon romance.
You can also renegade it up until she practically asks if you're serious about her and tells you about her boyrfriend that got killed. The dialogue is a bit more fun in that direction.

Do anything, really. All I do for her is her loyalty mission, then I never speak to her again.
Then again, the "Crazy psychotic killer b*tch" doesn't do anything for me.
