I do. No point in having them on the team if I can't stand to use them. I tried to survive the SM in my renegade with Just Jack, Morinth, Thane, Grunt, Miranda and Mordin. But I guess I prepared too well since I couldn't pull it off.

Do you hack people's wall safes and loot dead bodies in RL? Because if not you're probably a hypocrite too. :P

Nah though I either kill them or (preferably) never recruit them in the first place. Can't do the latter with Jack. :pinched:

I tried, but some a-hole in a blue shirt kept slapping cuffs on my arm, for whatever reason.

I don't see the problem, they were dead before I found them, their money may as well be put to use.

Do you guys ever stop and think about what Miranda did with Lazarus? I mean, the woman has conquered death. It's no longer permanent. Because of her. She's taken the power normally reserved to gods and nothing bad happened. And that, Lemon, is why I'm so gleeful about killing her. Death, where is thy sting, indeed. She'll reap the rewards of her own research.

I'd be fine with it if she weren't the only person left who knew HOW to use Lazarus.

Or even if Lazarus can be rebuilt and reused, since the station is defunct.

Those bastards! Those safes were just there to be cracked. :P

Exactly. Not like they can use the money. I can at least put it to good use. :bandit:

Seriously though I wish I could avoid recruiting Jack. :(

@jtav: Thanks I do try. :D

Of course, probably easier to see what I'm talking about if you zoom in.

We agree on that.

TIM: Shepard, I need you to go to the prison-ship Purgatory to retrieve your next soldier. Her name is Jack and she is the most powerful human biotic. All expenses have already been paid.

Shepard: Alright, since I'm already working with terrorists, I might as well add another type of criminal to the list.

TIM: Please, do keep in mind that Jack is extremely mentally unstable due to speading the majority of her childhood as a forced test subject on one of our bases. Also, we are the reason she was incarcerated in the first place.

Shepard...come again? ಠ_ರೃ

Shepard: Any rapists or schizophrenics you want me to pick up while I'm out?

TIM: Actually, there's--

Shepard: That was a joke. I prefer being able to sleep at night without having to fear for my life. *Sigh*. Fine, I'll go find Jack.

I think with enough enlightenment of one another Miranda and Leng could work out. If anything you should be more embarrassed of her being with Shepard since he has very little personality.

Yes, we get it. You hate Shepard so much that you'd rather Miranda be with a guy who slit the throat of a defenseless asari just before drugging a man who was on rehab with the drug he used to be addicted to. Thank you for the clarification.

Meh. Renegade Shepard can let a factoryfull of workers burn to death, personally slaughter a colony village...

Surely, what woman wouldn't be dripping at the panties for a man like him?

Aside from Kelly, I mean.

The only people who could give him any competition are maybe... Hitler, or Pol Pot.

Don't forget Stalin.

Of course.

How could I forget how wildly sexy Stalin was with all the суки's. I mean, his marriage proposal was the killing of those Polish POW's.

Fun idea-

Name 1 thing you wished was in the romance, but wasn't.

For me, it would be Shepard telling Miranda that he loves her.

I mean, there's "I care about you Miranda, and I think you care about me", but it didn't seem sincere enough. And "Care" and "Love" are 2 different things.

With as few romance scenes that there are, it was hard to believe it wouldve lead to sex. The only thing that even makes that plausible is the fact their facing a suicide mission.  But I ran with it.  I felt those lines were well done, but going so far as to say their in love, wouldve tossed the entire flow of the relationship out the window. And I probably wouldnt have been a miri fan. Love and care are two different things and by the time mass effect 2 ends they arent there yet. To force it otherwise wouldve felt like betraying miris character, and wouldve made the whole thing extremely shallow.

In ME2, it might have been too soon for declarations of love.
I'd want the opportunity for Shepard to admit that he is just as scared of losing her as she is scared of losing him.
Also, I'd wish the subject of Cerberus had been more discussed in the romance. For example, have Shepard claim that he doesn't intend to join Cerberus for good and ask what does Miranda intend to do if he decides to walk way.

Indeed. We would probably do a helluva better job writing ME3's script than the writers.

To be fair, they only had so much time to pregress the romance. They couldn't very well make it 10 or more conversations. The conversations that ARE there are good though, except for a handful of Shepard's dialogues (Genetic mutt, anyone?)

And while the tension from the suicide mission likely played a part, there's nothing to suggest Shepard and Miranda couldn't start something otherwise.

Anyway, since Miranda and Shepard are together in both of my canons, I just kinda wish he would let her know that he truly loves her.

ME3 romance is actually really good, especially on Shepard's end. I believe that he loves her, and that she isn't just another notch on the proverbial bedpost.

I admit, that does sound like a missed opportunity. And with Cerberus being the enemy in ME3, her loyalty would be tested if she was still with them, and expected to betray Shepard.
