The squadmate who pulls you up is determined by a priority list. Miranda is at the top.

Ah, I'm not surprised, but that is interesting. I always thought it was because "I did practically everything with her." (Ironically, at the top of MY priority list *wink*) Having said that, what if you don't take her? The priority list is still in effect, no?

Priority list is:

Miranda -> Zaeed -> Kasumi -> Tali -> Jacob -> Mordin -> Samara -> Grunt -> Legion -> Garrus -> Jack -> Thane

And they must be in your final squad.

It would be straight through minus 2 & 3 as I don't have the DLC. Thanks again!

Hum, did not know that. I think we should create vague and baseless theories on how this means Miranda is likely to be in ME3.

I don't suposse there is a priority list on who Shepard saves from falling?

It's always the squadmate whose icon is on the right.

I would suppose so and that it's probably the icon on the left because I remember saving Mordin before Miranda saved me.

To me she's one of the most interesting characters. Some people say "but she's designed to be perfect that's boring!". Nonsense. It's an incredible set up for a character allowing more deep and complex questions than all these 'I was at war and blah blah' stories from other characters.

I have to admit, I find it hard to believe that someone who hates Miranda could actually like her LM. It's your basic Run & Shoot mission.

it was because i could kinda relate to her messed up family situation and it has one of the best renegade interpts in the game lol.

But i suppose there are worse charecters.

Let's not turn this into a character war. I'm sure every character has a substantial loyal fanbase. The numbers don't always tell you the whole story.

It is interesting thogh because as I was thumbing through Miranda polls, I often came across Miranda and Tali as the top two heavy votes. (That was alot of polls! Word!)

But yes, we Mirimancers, like this human! She understands (and you best understand her or else!)

(1) She’s an independently powerful and competent woman who can deal with her problems – professional or emotional – on her own (note: that doesn’t mean she doesn’t appreciate help). She’s the only female LI character who plays in the same league as Shepard. That makes her a perfect companion for him.
(2) She’s morally ambiguous. Black and white types tend to be predictable – and thus, often less interesting than those with grey morality. Her mental flexibility also means that she adapts better to situations where conventional morality just doesn't apply.
(3) She’s emotionally detached... - enough to be fascinating and refreshing, but not so much as to be unlikeable. All too often women in fiction are represented as more or less defined by their emotions. Miranda breaks that pattern. She can be professional; she can be coldly detached or coolly unmovable. She can also be emotional, but she’s not restricted to that.
(4) ...but does warm up to those she respects and trusts. Trust and (professional) respect are interwoven in her relationship to you. Once you've gained them, she becomes more open with you, and you know that's something special.
(5) She’s a “spy with superpowers”. This combination of power and mystery is irresistible to many of her fans.
(6) She's a woman, not a girl. Her grown-up and balanced personality attracts many fans.
(7) She's unapologetically sexual - and not presented as a sl*t because of it (forget the ass shots and pay attention to her behavior if you don't believe it). That's refreshing because more conventional stories like to paint a woman who enjoys sex - to say nothing of sex in engine rooms - in a more negative light.
(8) She's human. For those who find interspecies romance unconvincing, that’s an important aspect if you want to romance her.
(9) She’s engineered to be perfect. That makes her special in a way you cannot acquire by learning or even character development. While for some, that’s a point of attraction in itself, if you’re a transhumanist you might also be thrilled by the fact that she might be – dare I say it – the genetic destiny of humanity.
(10) She’s beautiful. This point is not as minor as people might want to make themselves believe. It’s not a necessary condition for liking her, but Miranda would be a different character if she were ugly.
Did You Read My Mind?WTF?!

Maybe They Made a Love Triangule :0 and we can choose in the game,But i Think Tali is The Best For Be Shepard Friend and Miranda the ''Wife''...and is obviosly that shepard doesnt want to live fighting or killing,he want a normal life like everybody :)

Well, if you romanced both (everybody seems to want a MirAsh cat fight). I wonder if it has to do with "experience" though (not like that) because Tali's been around longer than Miranda.

And yes, each Shepard is different, but I'm with you on the "wife" thing! :P

It's funny, I already considered Miranda a great character, one of the best in ME2, I love Yvonne Strahovski and was excited to learn about her all the way up the the game's release...

But in that poll, I only felt like choosing "She's nice".

I just don't feel like I've had enough time with her.

She's worth every single second. She may take awhile to warm up to, but you'll lke her once you get you know her. YMMV, of course!
