Not really. The evidence suggests the happy ending won't be of a kind I don't like. I'm more frightened of getting no happy ending at all, or finding it incompatible with a certain other choice.

I'll let the galaxy burn to see Matt with Miranda if I have to.

This is exactly what I'm worried about. That in order to see Cyrus Shepard with Miranda, I might have to let....certain things....burn on a large scale. Because I don't think he could live with himself after having done that.

In my Miranda romanced playthrough this scene felt completely out of character for that Shepard. He would not have done this so I had to take the "later" option. I am wondering if there will be dialogue specific for the Shepards that decided to wait or if it will have zero impact.

Of course it would involve Miranda

Otherwise, I'm still not sure. Cyrus Shepard appears to tell me he wants to go into politics, building on his canonical ability to convince people of anything, while Miranda works for the advancement of humanity in the background. Cyrus Shepard would represent the political arm of Miranda's Prometheus Foundation, while she is his hidden hand. There would be public and clandestine aspects to both their jobs.
