Why are they so damn creepy? They treat Tali as if she's the greatest character in the Mass Effect Series and as if she's some "cute" sex toy. It's people like them who made BioWare give Miri little time with us.

First and foremost I have nothing against character gushing... in moderation. Taking it overboard and getting hypersensitive about people who don't share your views about said character pisses me off and is a great way to get this thread locked. 

No, I don't make people feel like morons. They make themselves feel like morons. Incessant gushing deviates from more interesting discussion. If I want to gush, I gush. I'm not of the gushing type. And it does border on the moronic. If you're feeling persecuted or oppressed by a statement that was not meant to offend then you need to grow some balls and stop being overly sensitve. And, frankly, the fact is that droning and drooling over Miranda adds nothing to the character. While discussion and introspection can introduce people who are unaware to a whole new facet of a complex character.

Truth is going...

"I <3<3<3<3<3<3<3 :wub::wub::wub: MIRANDA!!!!" everyother ****ing post adds nothing. Discussion does. A lot of fans here want to steer non-fans away from the common misconception that Miranda is 110% fan service. She's fyne as hell; we get that. But judging by the way some people act on here it's like they've never seen an attractive women in the flesh before.

And I was singling out Luis because I made a point last page and I addressed pretty much everyone. He's the only one that got his panties in knot and tried to defend his position whne I wasn't even attacking. I was attemtptiong to calm a derailing thread down.

Now can we get back to Miranda?

Wait! How is this Possible? You can't go to Horizon without Recruiting Mordin, and you can't recruit characters like Samara, Thane, Tali, and Legion til after Horizon, what gives? Look at this video, and for some reason the Player used a mod to play as Garrus. Watch the whole thing:

Let me see if I can offer a bit of an outsiders perspective on this issue.  For the most part (at least, what I've seen), all of the character fan threads are filled primarily with intelligent, reasonable people who are merely taking part in a community of others who share a similar character appreciation, and that's exactly what it should be.  Every group has a small percentage of excessive devotees that seem to be taking things a little bit too far, and that really does go for every character, whether it be Miranda, Tali, Liara, Kaiden or even Joker.  

No disrespect intended, MEFFL, but this post is a little over the edge as viewed by an "outsider" or "casual."  Gushing about a character is one thing and I'm pretty sure we've all done it.  But a sentence like "...expressing our deep Affection and our Love to our LI" sounds borderline excessive.  Following that up by bashing another fanbase whose only real crime is to have a HUGE amount of followers doesn't help your credibility either.  The Tali threads have certainly had their share of creepiness (I don't think anyone is proud of the 'sweat' discussion), but I can firmly remember some creepiness going on in this thread too in regards to dem assets.

Yeah, but the Characters who are NOT suppose to be there have official Banter, and Mordin mentions their race while curing, AND they have their actual voices and what not.

Well, it used to be that the game was designed so any squadmate could be recruited at any time after Freedom's Progress.  Due to the Xbox 360's limitations (requiring two discs), Bioware made the game more linear so squadmates could only be picked up after certain points.  However, the resources from the original style are still in the game files.

That would have been funny had Bioware allowed you to do just that and it register a fail as the seeker swarms attack your Shepard and crew. Here both Miranda and TIM tell you that Mordin should be your first recruit, the player says, "I'm not listening to you two Cerberus creeps!"

Lands on Horizon and SMACK! Game Over. Just add it to the Morinth fail.

Vertigo put this up a while back. Now the common speculation is that the promo DLC will allow you to play as Miranda, Mordin, Garrus, and Legion in MP respectively.

I don't know how to feel about this. Sounds fun, but $70 is a lot of money. Do I even want to play as Miranda, Mordin, ect in MP? I don't know. I think jtav could appreciate this though (Miranda is your avatar, right? ).
