I would appreciate it - since I do identify with Miranda to a degree, weirdly - if it wasn't MP only. I like the characters for their story content, not for their combat skills. Should this be true, I couldn't care less, and even less spend money on expensive promotional crap (yep, Citadel Souvenirs near-quote intentional).

@bold- I dunno. Miranda's combat skills are a part of her character... Kind of.

In regards to everything else, I agree.

Though, part of me DOES want to get the #2 set, since it includes all of my favorite characters.

"I *snip* MIRANDA!!!!" everyother ****ing post adds nothing. Discussion does. A lot of fans here want to steer non-fans away from the common misconception that Miranda is 110% fan service. She's fyne as hell; we get that. But judging by the way some people act on here it's like they've never seen an attractive women in the flesh before.

And I was singling out Luis because I made a point last page and I addressed pretty much everyone. He's the only one that got his panties in knot and tried to defend his position whne I wasn't even attacking. I was attemtptiong to calm a derailing thread down.

Now can we get back to Miranda?

At least, Miranda never notes it, and the SB dossier never implies that she does.

Hmm.... I think I'd be curious enough about her to try and look beyond the coldness. That's how I got interested in-game. Not by attractiveness or an immediate liking, but by curiosity. How things go from there would depend on the response.

Yes, but that, too, is part of her story. Combat-only game content tells no story. At least none about the characters involved.

As I understand she's thought to be a major spoiler so BioWare didn't put her on any footage.

@bold1 - Yeah. At the very least, give it a shot. If it continues, let it continue. At least, that's how I see it.

@bold2 - I'm not going to ignore that her looks did have a part in me becoming interested, but I'll also admit that I was genuinely curious.

From what I've read in the leaked script "major spoiler" is major hyperbole, but her content is very incomplete, so we might still be in for a pleasant surprise.

There's Thane, Grunt, Samara/Morinth, Kasumi, Zaeed, etc. A lot of the ME2 exclusive cast hasn't been shown AFAIK.

I don't think I'd want a video, unless it were interview-style, like the ME2 trailers were. I prefer to withhold my disappointment until the game is released. Some concept art would suffice though, to show off any changes to her look. I'm curious as to what they changed. if they changed anything (Besides the obvious Cerberus emblem on her suit).

People are giving her too much credit. She's an idealist and a follower of causes. A leader with enough charisma and a genuine love for a cause (that she can identify with) would be enough to pique her curiosity.

In my opinion Miranda isn't the King on the Chess board. She's the Queen... which happens to be most useful or the deadliest piece depending on view point.

Why would they make it merely a weapon themed DLC, when only one of those characters on that set is on the squad?
