You can't even start the romance (Or any romance) until after the LM was finished (For each corresponding romantic interest), or am I wrong?

Aside from the leak and her confirmation, I don't think so.

I can only suggest re-reading the email Oriana sends Shepard after the LM (can't remember exactly when it arrived in his inbox after the mission). Reading between the lines I sensed that Oriana was attempting a little match-making in her note - and it worked!

Besides the obvious "Not Cerberus".

Not at all. She's not with Cerberus, but we don't know if there is a human faction she identifies with. I sort of hope there isn't, since that would mean she's more likely to create her own.

It can be interpreted as "bring her home before 11" as well as "bring her back alive". I think they left it open on purpose.

I'll go back and have a look at it. I haven't read any e-mails since I downloaded Arrival (Back when it came out), since Arrival overrides your first look at the terminal.

Not exactly, though I guess you could read it that way. From the mail:

I certainly hope she doesn't affiliate herself with any specific organization (At least, during the game, or if she decides to re-purpose Cerberus).

Given the circumstances, I think it would be easier (And probably better) to just lie low and not associate yourself with anyone (Except Shepard).

Mac Walters tweeted about her several times. That's where we got the info she'll have several scenes and that she's in a scene he was writing at the time which he considered one of the most challenging to write. That was around GamesCom (mid-August).

I'm certain that he would care though if he ever learns of it, since it's Miranda and Shepard, easily 2 of the most dangerous people in the galaxy.

In ME2, I don't think he minded. Probably saw it as a chance for Shepard to be turned to thr cause. In ME3, it could be a weapon. Capture one and the other comes running.

I don't think he even knows of a Miranda/Shepard relationship in ME2.

I certainly wouldn't put it past him to learn quickly, but I don't think he knew about it DURING the game.

Despite it's plausibility, I don't think I need to explain why it's a bad idea, do I?
