In LotSB you can find Tali accessing information on Shepard and on sexual practices of humans even if Shepard is female. As was the case with those Miranda moments, it leads one to assume 1) they were originally "bi" or 2) Bioware pretty much lays out the entire game based on MALE Shepard and later comes in and edits it to fit in female Shepard, occasionally missing a few suggestive details in their editing.

And, for the record, I have NO problem with s/s options even with previous squadmates. I'd like to give players the option, but I also don't want Bioware writers to be forced to implement them if it violates their vision for the characters they're writing.

I doubt Miranda/FShep was seriously considered. Doesn't stop me from thinking of Miranda as bisexual and pairing her with Liara.

IF Oriana were to catch on to a Miranda/Shepard romance, I doubt she'd outright ask "Are you trying to get with my sister?", she'd allude to it, and if Shepard confirms her suspicions (Intentionally or not), she'd be more open about it.

I do think Oriana senses that Miranda needs someone who cares for her the way she cares for Oriana. Romance is incidental.

I guess. I wouldn't put it past Oriana to think that. Little does she know, though, Shepard and Miranda eventually start a relationship (At least, if you do it in-game)

Well, she's almost the same as Miranda, so she's just as good if not just slightly inferior to her in that regard.

And why wouldn't she be happy? I don't have a sister, but if I did, I'd certainly be happy she found someone who legitimately cares about her and isn't just using her for sex.

Shepard is certainly more "In love" with Miranda in ME3, regarding dialogue, if that's what you mean.

I don't think Oriana thought there was something there between Miranda and Shepard at that time, and in reality it was only a very small spark at that time. But I do think she was entertaining possibilities after their meeting and reflected them in that note - again, a receptive and smart young women. Oriana obviously wanted Miri to to be as happy as Miri wanted her to be.

Personally, I'm excited to hear and see Shepard's new dialogue concerning his romance with Miranda.

What little I have seen is very "D'awwww:wub:" worthy.

I remember you've made a funny dialogue about it a couple of weeks ago .

I think Mrs Shepard would be pleased eventually to see that her son is in good hands with Miranda .

Me too. I don't think it would take THAT long though (Or even IF Shepard or Miranda say she's ex-Cerberus), since both Shepard and Miranda are there to explain to Mrs. Shepard.
