Quick question...

On a scale of 1/10, what would you rate the initial leak, regarding Miranda in ME3, compared to the more recent leak? I ask because I see a lot of people say that the more recent leak is much better than the initial leak, and I of course wasn't around during the initial leak.

Meaning, what would you give leak #1, and what would you give leak #2, and which parts are better/worse?

The initial leak was about as bad as it was possible to be. All my nightmares come true. The new leak is hard to grade. If what's there is all there is, it's about a 3-4.

Just a 3-4? Everyone else I've asked says it's at least... Average. 3-4 on most scales is just above "god awful".

She does one impressive thing that I don't think is onscreen, the Cerberus connection feels incidental, and the scene(s) that would give us a better sense of her are missing. All I can really piece together is the romance, which is nice, but not that big a deal.

There's still nothing about her arc with cerberus, and no confrontation with TIM. It'sa 2-3 for me. the first leak was like less than -9000

The trouble is that we're pinning much of our hopes on things that aren't there because we're missing the ending for her.It could be fantastic. flemm outlined such a scenario. Or it could be painfully bland. Her mission is a mess, and it's difficult to draw any conclusions.

My main problem reading the leak, is the still unused (maybe wasted) potential regarding Miranda.

There's no confrontation with TIM (at least not one Shepard was present for) but the continuation of her Cerberus arc is there. They just merged it with her personal issues.
The problem is that the Cerberus arc appears to be an aftertought when compared to dealing with her father which can, probrably, be blamed on lack of resources or time.

I'm still disappointed with Bioware's crappy handling of the ME2 characters. Almost all of them were wasted by lousy scriptwriters.

I had a dream last night. It was weird. Miri was there, I guess it was ME3. She had her hair in a bun, a visor on her eyes, and armor on. She kinda looked like Ashley, but with her Aussie Accent. This worries me. What if BioWare makes Miri look more like Ashley in ME3?

In the leak, was their any mention of Shepard's reaction to seeing her - did he/she state "Oh, you look different", etc. Not exactly in those words, but just a reaction towards her appearance.

The only character that seems to have had an actual redesign rather than an outfit change is Ashley. I still haven't figured out Bioware's rationale on that one; in what universe does her redesign look more attractive?

Other than that, Kaiden still looks like Kaiden, Liara looks like Liara, Jack looks like Jack and Tali looks like Tali.

Yeah, but it still looks like Jack.  Her facial structure is exactly the same, and her new outfit is keeping with her character.  Realistically, it's exactly how a redesign should be done.
