I sincerely hope that before you leave, you can provide up with more sage wisdom.
There may actually be something like that in ME3 based on the rumors...well sort of at least...

You guys realize you don't have to post a picture every page. Not trying to be rude, well maybe, but don't force the thread to consistently be up with "chat-room" type posts, etc.
Did you notice you were at the top of the page? Just sayin'.
Sorry to offend. It was this or the State of the Union speech. Easy choice.

Every character thread I've seen has at least 1 picture per page. They enforce it like law.
We're lagging behind.

You only avoid cliches regarding romance? Or cliches are only good with romance?
And I wasn't talking violent as in like Gears of War (Of course, blood will be spilled and some limbs will be severed). Rather, Shepard is taking each shot fired and taken personally and on a deeper level.
We already had the romance cliche discussion. I mostly can't stand the ladies love to jump bad-boys cliche (no matter how much truth there may be to it...ugh). Sometimes I wonder if that's a reality follows art scenario.
I can apply a grenade to the face in a very personal kind of way...maybe even a very personal application of the Cain.
I was thinking more along the lines of Shepard, who's normally easygoing and a nice guy, becoming a sadistic, pissed off killer.
Like, taking the last merc left and interrogating him, threatening the merc's family if he doesn't talk.

Would you sacrifice Udina for a coupon for some really good Chinese Food?
Sure. At least the Chinese food is doing something productive.
To try and put this thread back on tracks... Udina does an admirable job representing humanity in the Council. Miranda's own words.
I understand Udina's motivations, and his goals are admirable, but his methods and style have a way of making players want to kill him.

I caught the jist of what you were saying re: sadistic and pissed. It came to mind for me as a kind of terminator with emotions and heavy weapons kind of scene. Which might actually be an interesting spin on one of the possible endings if you get my drift.

Let me rephrase that:
The vibe I get from the leak is that deep down, Miranda just wants a loving family and all the extraordinary things she did are compensations for the normal life she can't have. And her family is the only thing she cares about. The ambition that attracted me is absent. The devs are not framing this a both/and but either/or.
The whole "All Miranda wants is a normal life" thing bugs me. She's passionate about the work she did with Cerberus in ME2 and she says that she wants Oriana to have a shot at a normal life. Miranda's focused on the life that she doesn't have.
Meanwhile ME3 Shepard is in awe of how Miranda brought him back. He makes it pretty clear that he loves Miranda because of her intellect and ambitions to the point that he could break out in song about it.

A widow, huh? I guess that's a pistol?
Seems like I've got a lot to learn about the ME universe. I only recently discovered the wiki. Fascinating back story.
If you'd said your gal sported an STI SteelMaster on the pistol stage I'd have known immediately what you were talking about. I've definitely got a lot to learn before I'm going to feel comfortable here.

The Widow is a sniper rifle.
You get it from the Collector ship if you're a soldier or infiltrator.
