*Veetor: obviously Miranda wants him for interrogation. But I have reason to trust Tali and no reason to trust unnamed Cerberus interrogators, so I left him with the quarians. Question: If you give Veetor to Cerberus, does Miranda have anything to say about the result if you bring her to the Migrant Fleet?

Who has Miri Lead the 2nd Fire Team at the beginning of the SM? I do.

For some Reason, I can't change Miri to her Armor After the Romance Scene and before going through the Debris Field. I can only change her to her Armor when one of those drones breaks through the Cargo Bay.

Look at the bold area. That is where I mostly want you to reply from:

I leave Miri on the Bridge because it doesn't make sense having her with you in the Cargo Bay, because you hear her say, "We're about the clear the Debris Field." on the speaker, yet she is right next to you. Why does that happen?

And when I go back to the bridge/cockpit, she is in her armor, which makes no sense. I can't change her to her Armor after the debriefing, because she is Leading the 2nd Fire Team.

I bring her into the cargo hold for exactly that reason :PI think it's hilarious to hear her over loudspeaker while she's standing at my side.

For the fire teams, I let Garrus lead both of them. From a story POV, it gives him a chance to redeem himself in his own eyes by bringing a squad through a mission successfully.

On the subject of Veetor, Miranda does remark that the "interrogation" that the guards on Purgatory are performing is needlessly cruel, but she never openly disapproves of the use of interrogation outright.

What confuses me is what actually went on with the interrogation. Veetor leaves with Shepard and the Kodiak returns to Minuteman Station and the game cuts to the second conversation with TIM. Is Miranda questioning Veetor while Shepard gets his orders and reunites with Joker or does she just have information about the outcome?

I have Miri Lead the Fire Team at the Beginning of the SM, after the Debriefing.

I have Garrus lead the Team while I move through the swarms.

On subject of the SM, who do you typically pick for each role?

Tubes- Legion. He's a machine and can hack through damn near anything.

1st fire team- Miranda or Garrus. I choose Garrus for the reasons I posted above, and sometimes I'll choose Miranda because I know she's a great leader who can pull them through.

2nd fire team and biotic spec.- Garrus and Samara. I pick Samara because she's on a Matriarch's level of power in regards to biotics, and has had nearly 1000 years to refine and discipline herself.

Final squad- Miranda + Someone who isn't good at holding the line, usually Tali or Jack or Kasumi

*edit: Escort- Mordin. Just because he sucks at everything else.

Vents: Legion. A machine should be more reliable than an organic.
FireTeam 1 and 2: Miranda. Shepard trusts her above everyone else on the crew.
Escort: Mordin. He is a doctor and should be able to give medical attention to the crew after reaching the Normandy.
Biotic: Samara. Asari>Human Biotic
Final Team: Miranda and whoever I feel like to.

That's the thing, they weren't interrogating him. They were just beating the hell out of him because he had killed another prisioner who was worth a lot of money to the Warden.

What confuses me is what actually went on with the interrogation. Veetor leaves with Shepard and the Kodiak returns to Minuteman Station and the game cuts to the second conversation with TIM. I'd say that's open to interpretation. After Miranda speaks, the quariand doctor says "your presence is disturbing my patient." She could mean Shepard, Cerberus in general or it could even mean that Miranda interrogated Veetor herself. She was aware of the details of the procedure and it would make sense for the woman that would accompany Shepard to destroy the Collectors to interrogate the only witness.

Question:

What does it take to get to catch Miranda when she's sliding off of the platform in the SM?

The only time I've been able to do this was on the first time I played, and unfortunately she was unloyal. She ended up dead under a pile of debris after I did manage to catch her (broke my heart...sniff). All other playthroughs have resulted in catching the other squadmate and it was more than a bit dissatisfying, especially when it turned out to be Legion.

I'm starting another PT soon and I don't want to miss out on this ending again - minus the "She's dead, Jim" part, of course...

The last time I finished a play through I had Miranda and Legion on my squad, and Miranda was the one who fell (And caught).

I think it's random as to who falls during the cutscene.

I believe it has to do with who you select first and they either end up on the right or left side (the little icon on the bottom which shows their faces and cooldowns).  I don't remember, but I think it's figured out somewhere, try looking up the SM in the ME2 forum section, they might have a detailed description about that part.

@Spiros

I don't think that's the case. I *Always* pick Miranda first, and 9/10 she's the one who falls and gets caught. But if I bring Thane along (Still picking Miranda first), he falls.

Usually the way you play it. Legion seems to be the most logical choice for the vents. Almost always Miranda on the first fire team, sometimes Jacob on the second one. I've chosen Jack as my biotic specialist to show my support for her spirit and abilities. Sometimes I have Jack or Mordin as the escort.

Interesting. Hadn't realised that as everytime i've done suicide mission with Miranda i've caught her. I've definitely done it with Kasumi & Grunt as the other.

It might not be if you pick her first either, I don't know. I just remember it usually depends on who you're with and what side they're on (either left or right on the icon thing). Or as stated, it could be random, lol.

Possibly, I'm replaying the series currently, but still on ME1. Maybe I should go check the ME2 forums, I'll let you know.

If it's random I'm getting totally screwed. I've noticed that it's always the character standing to your left right after you take down the HR, but not which side of the HUD they're on just before that happens. I'll have to pay better attention to that the next time around.

I'll also try a search and see what pops up.

Blue and orange.

Colors of the Florida Gators, college football.

I haven't done my canon run yet (I'll start once I get my hands on the Strategy Guide for ME3 so I can map out the decisions I want to make across all three games), but I want to go for blue and gold (UCLA Bruins).

Looking over Miranda's romance dialogue again, and I must say... I don't much care for how skewed it is for renegade. If you want any real physical interaction with Miranda, you have to pick the renegade options, even if you agree with Shepard's words on the paragon choice more.

A hug should have been given to the "You give your father too much credit" exchange, after Miranda says thank you, then it continues as normal. The kiss can stay where it is.

My last play-through on the SM was a little weird, because I have never seen Jack "hold the line". It is also the first time I saw Miri fall, but it was cool.

Tech Specialist: Legion for reasons already mentioned.
Fire Teams: Garrus for both. He's a good leader and no one seems to have a problem with him. I chose Miranda once.
Biotic Bubble: Always Samara. Strongest biotic on the team and definitely the most levelheaded. Loyal or not Shep will trust Samara over Jack any day.
Escort: Mordin. Sent Jacob once. Turned out alright.
Final Squad: Miranda and Tali. I'll be switching Tali for Kasumi since that's my most used squadmate.

I may post my other choices later.

I've only done it on the PS3 to this point, but in the vents- Tali, Fire Team (both)- Jacob, Escort- Mordin, Biotic Bubble- Samara, Final Squad- Miranda and Garrus (Miranda is always in my team, it's been non-negotiable from the start of my first ever playthrough).

I don't know about you all, but for me this half-visor high-res AAP2 armor makes Miranda even more irresistible than she already was. It's becoming my default outfit.

I can't wait to see her thusly in the window scene.
