And here's the window scene. The visor doesn't look quite as good as I expected from this angle and in this lighting. I think in this scene she may look better in her loyalty outfit, but it's still good.

If only there was a small 10 sec scene after the Mission Plan scene (the Scene after the Normandy Crash Landed on the Collector Base) where they show Us telling our LI to "Be Careful out There." And the LI says something like "Same to you."

In Our Case, it would be with Miri.

It's because she is her sister. Mirana already cleared that she will dislike every boyfriend that Oriana might have.

And for some reason I'm more interested n a Vega/Oriana. Is like a "what if" version of Shepard/Miranda. Lets say a Shepard with no service record (no akuze, torfan or elysium) with a Mirana with the normal life that she could never had.

I'm guessing it's the first because then she wants descriptions of eye color. I'd think the age and life experience difference a problem.

I don't think Miranda "dislikes" him, she's just being protective of her sister. Her actions are normal. She obviously doesn't know him very well, aside from the information she pulls up about him.

I don't see why that couldn't happen if Miranda has died. They are almost identical, after all (life experience and age being the only real difference).

There was no Romantic Connection. I mean, after you defeat the Human Reaper, when the metal slab falls on Miri and when you lift it off of her, you don't give her some Hug of Relief because she's alive or anything else.

Well, if Shep/Miranda existed, Shep/Oriana becomes very squicky. But the vibe I'm getting from the leak is Ori would make an excellent romance in her own right.

Gotta agree with Jtav. Not because of the age difference but because it would be ridiculously easy to read it as Shepard looking for a replacement for Miranda in Oriana.

They can't display it in front of the crew. I agree that more emotional moments would be cool. But the Commander and the XO getting all hugs and kisses in the middle of a fire fight wouldn't go over well. Particularly when half the team dislikes/hates/doesn't trust Miranda already.

The solution there is Shep not romancing Miranda. And the sisters are different enough to appeal to different personality types.

Yeah. It was either something that BioWare missed on their part, or they made it so that Miri, and Us (Shepard) can DEFINITELY hold in their emotions for each other in Battle.

In the leak, is there that option for Oriana? It would be a cool storyline to explore on a third or fourth playthrough.

Likely it was a decision so that the same animation could be used regardless of who you picked to lead the fire team. But the reasoning for the reaction to the li could be made.

I agree with you 101. I would like to see more recognition of the relationship during gameplay.

This is something that could be done regardless of LI. Subtlety is something very few video games use. I would love it if the game recognized relationships and added subtle looks and gestures to portray what can't be said. It would be great.

Which could lead to some incredible interaction given he's a man in grief. Not saying anything would, could, or  should come of it. Actually I'm surprised people think that it's creepy, it's a meme that has been explored in many other stories with great success.

Ed: I'm going to add here that I'm from the Robert Heinlein school of science fiction. Probably dating myself by doing it, but I don't care. That guy has thrown practically every social convention relating to the human condition out in the street on it's ass at least once in his writing career. Guess I figured I'd see more people bucking those conventions here as well.

I would agree with that. Hugs and kisses have no place on a mission. Some added eye contact like on the SM after landing on the Collector base, that I would like in more situations.

I would agree with that. Hugs and kisses have no place on a mission. Some added eye contact like on the SM after landing on the Collector base, that I would like in more situations.

At the very least, Shepard could have that " Oh no!" look on his face after picking the debris up off of her. And hes relieved to see that she's OK.
