I preordered the collector's edition.

I wonder why it's much Easier to make a Custom Face for FemShep.
It's harder to make a rancid, ass ugly FemShep than it is a guy Shep.

I pre-ordered the CE for the 360 back in June.ClanMacNab wrote...

I don't normally preorder games but EA sent me 15% discount code because of some problems I've been having with DLC and points/profile screwups. Can't bring myself to use the code yet because the problems still haven't been resolved after almost two weeks. Still have about three weeks to use that code at the Origin store.

Beautiful, Dr.Doctor. I've said something to that effect before, namely, that Oriana as a character would only be interesting if she ceased to be nothing more than Miranda's morality pet and confounded the players' expectations as well as Miranda's. Unfortunately that scenario appears to come with a price I don't want to pay.Dr. Doctor wrote...

The interesting thing is that it's not OOC. A Miranda who didn't speak with Oriana really comes off as a self-hating wretch who's real reason for staying away has more to do with the belief she's no good for her sister.
What I really would like to see is Oriana come into her own as a character. While Miranda might want her to have a chance at a normal life I'd like to see Oriana come right back and tell Miranda that its her choice to make what she does with that chance. Basically, she tells Miranda to get her head on straight so she can go show TIM what happens when you mess with their family.
I wrote something that uses this scenario, but be warned reading it comes with spoilers.
@jtav:
I've never seen that scene you mention, but you tend to exaggerate these things. Can it be it's not nearly that bad?
As for preordering, I pre-ordered the CE back in June.

And yes, I did reorder after initially canceling when I read the leak. I'm not optimistic about Miranda, but two of her replacements on the team are sufficiently awesome.

Bad news. It does. I'll have a very close look at that task. But if I understand things correctly, you only need to be online once for activation.Dr. Doctor wrote...
Preordered the N7 Collector's Edition for PC a few months back. Hopefully it doesn't require Origin for the disc version.

Miranda might not have installed a control chip, but EA has.

Good stuff, Doc. The last line is the gem on the ring.
If Oriana doesn't turn out to be at least as heroic as her sister, then I'll be confounded.

Perhaps a little, but Strahovski does not sound like a woman who likes what she sees when she looks in the mirror in the Renegade version of that scene. Whereas the Paragon version sounds like a proud parent.
Do you mean that in a good or bad way?

If you mean the latter, mostly good I think. Miranda is clearly pleased with what Oriana has become, and she's the one who made it possible. No reason not to feel good about that.AgitatedLemon wrote...

Is there actual evidence of that? I thought it was just a hypothesis. You should probably answer this in the spoiler group or by PM (I'll read it tomorrow, off now).jtav wrote...
Basically, it appears Miranda does not become a person I want to throttle repeatedly if she doesn't talk to her sister.
