Kai Lang is a hand to hand fighter. The one person I think that will have a great chance is Thane.
I disagree, Kai Leng was part of the same N7 program Shepard was. Therefore he has had the same training as him, which I'm sure as a special forces meant hand to hand combat among other things.
Of course you don't see that with Shepard so much (it's a game).
With Cerberus I'm sure he got some extra training...I'll bet he even trained with Miranda at some point.
I do think that Kai Leng might be a match for Shepard but I don't think he will outright defeat him without a sweat.
Kai Leng is also at the same status as Miranda Lawson (this is from the last book). Again I would assume TIM would want them to be as efficient as possible. From what I've read though I would put Miranda as a much more intellectual person than Kai Leng.
And yeah I'm late to this conversation but I was at work!

Never heard of her until I looked her up just now. Sounds interesting. It seems I have something I need to watch (groan - too little time for following *current* TV events, much less past ones)wright1978 wrote...
Think Aeryn Sun has some of the same qualities as Miri. Attractive, intelligent, focused and extremely capable.Genetically altered human offshoot. Hard exterior,a tiny bit screwed up but that lies beneath is worth the effort. Voiced by an extremely talented actress.

Yeah but Leng got his ass blown to hell and back at the end. I'm assuming TIM took the liberty of fitting him with some Lazarus upgrades. Kai Leng is bad enough. He's Cyborg Shepard 2.0 now, so to speak.

We don't know for sure...didn't he get his ass handed to him by Anderson in the book?
I don't remember specifics other than him getting shot in the legs and told to lmake it back to his ship
EDIT: I'm sure they will feature him in the next book and we will hopefully get some more insight

Hell, I'm surprised that Jacob, or Garrus, or even Joker didn't acknowledge this.
I'm hoping to see more characters say what they feel about the Romantic Relationship with Miri in ME3.

Yeah I think Anderson capped his knees with a shotgun.

Do you remember the quick thinking Anderson had when he and Sanders were being taken by Leng to his ship? Using an obstacle and an injured Sanders to capture Kai Leng?
I think it's going to take this type of thinking to beat him in ME3.

I'd like to see that, too. Only I fear it would be done in such an incredibly unsubtle way that I could barely credit Miranda for it. But perhaps that would be a good way for her to start escaping from captivity.jtav wrote...
I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but I also want to see Miranda the femme fatale who can control men with barely more than a raised eyebrow.

Yeah, their whole "Femme Fatale" description in the art book doesn't apply to ME2's Miranda in the slightest, she never quite fit the archetype though I'd love to see them work more on that regard.

Should this be added to the wishlist for ME3?

Please don't think of me as unintelligent, I haven't read the books.
What are in the books that could be rellevant to ME3?

I'd recommend it but we'd need to see everybody's opinion first, but we can agree that Miranda can go down that road, assuming she went undercover before she must have had to use seduction if not going all the way to get what she needs or to get out of a bad situation.
Implementing something that requires Miranda to use this particular set of skills can greatly add a new perspective to how we see her character, to further press the issue of how she's different from say someone like Ashley or Liara who "might" never do something like this.

What for? Would this boost up her character delevopment in the story, specifically the Romance?

And if we're gonna do this then let's please include a brief description of what a "real" femme fatale is, most people just mistake them for sexy girls who shoot their way out of bad situations.
Also, it could make for an interesting relationship development if say Shepard saw Miranda in a compromising situation, some Shepards might have an issue with it, some might not and a friction in the romance can go on from there with very exciting possibilities... more importantly if such thing ever comes to pass in the game I don't want Miranda to put her relationship with Shepard ahead of the mission, if it requires she sleeps with someone to get the job done she'll do it no matter what Shepard thinks of it, it'll offer an opportunity where Shepard isn't the one leading the romance but for once on the receaving end.

I and a few other people here are not exclusively interested in romance content. It would add to her character and show what so far had only been told: that she can use her appearance as a weapon.

I'd prefer if it didn't go that far that she had to, if only for the majority's comfort.ViSeirA wrote...

Yes, she should not let Shepard's misplaced jealousy get in the way of the mission. But I don't want to see that conflict in the first place because I can assure you: that's exactly how they'd write it. Stroking the player's ego comes before all other considerations.
