Squad is something they decide very early and fwiw, the leak has matched up perfectly with what's revealed so far.

Thane Invictus mission never existed. It was a thing fabricated by a fan as a "leak" from Xbox World (back when we only knew the magazine would have "Killer Feature Reveal"). Obviously, it turned out it wasn't any leak and the killer feature was multiplayer, not character reveal & mission descriptions as that poster claimedshepard1038 wrote...

This makes sense sadly. Why waste money on showing characters that you'll have to go "sorry won't be seeing them for most of the game" when you can push the characters that will be with you? Disappointing. But logical.spiros9110 wrote...
I don't believe we'll see any video of any ME2 squad specifically, or one dedicated to one of them. There might be a quick glimpse (like Jack in the collector's video, but that was only a concept art). Bioware has been focusing more on showing their permanent squad and I don't blame them, they do want to get as many new customers as they can, but I wouldn't mind seeing at least something for one of the ME2 squadmates. Maybe a little glimpse of each of them, but I highly doubt that will happen, a screenshot will be more likely.

I guess we'll have to wait and see. I don't know my expectations for her appearance so maybe I don't have any.jtav wrote...
It still looks worse than the catsuit. I'm dreading Miranda's redesign tbh.
Wondering if we should expect an incognito type of look...

Certainly doesn't hurt to explore other LI's in separate playthroughs though. Each Shepard might as well be in an alternate reality.
I've explored every LI. Didn't like 'em so deleted the playthroughs.. My only 2 LI are Miranda and Liara.. and I only have 2 Sheps.

Same here. Both of these romances and the way the story weaved around them were the most satisfying for me. They also made an interesting love triangle.

A couple of "star cast" VAs were listed in the EA press release that accompanied the video, though they weren't in the video. These being Strahovski and Carrie-Anne Moss (Aria).

Well in America (my country) a lot of war reporters have no experience before getting there. People like
Richard Engel
and Laura Logan
http://desmond.image....jpg&res=medium
get a lot of respect from me from me for going into warzones with little to no experience of being in a war zone to get the story. And how do people see that back home... Well, that's another topic entirely.
And most of the time, the attached reporters are unwelcomed by the units they're attached to because they tend to get in the way. I once had a green combat reporter attached to my unit in the first few weeks of the 2001 invasion of Afghanistan, and we ran into a Taliban ambush. Ended up having to protect the reporter and the cameraman while we fought back. The best part? No footage was gleaned because the cameraman's camera was shot up without him realising it until we got back to camp.

And one of the thing that I hope they changed from the leaked script
*spoiler* The last name of her father. I mean, She didn't change her last name after escaping from her father? That is like insulting her fanbase, Miranda is clever, she could have created an identity to avoid being tracked by her father.*spoiler*
