Point taken, but I'm more thinking along the lines of character arcs.  Lair of the Shadow Broker made Liara into one of the most complex, charming and realistic characters in the entire series, and they somehow accomplished all that in a 2 hour DLC.  

Quality over quantity

Wow!...Hot in here, I'm just catching up on the news after being too long away from the Forums and a sounds like not great news with Miranda?...Though in truth, nobodies really going to know what's really happening until we play the game. I know personally I'm hurting over lack of Kasumi news and making a guess that with the inclusion of Diana, the chances of Kas becoming an LI are now most likely zero, but staying bouyant regardless because none of us really know what is in store in ME3.

I will say...though I am a well known 'no fan of Miranda's', I would be very surprised if her role in ME3 is sidelined due to the size of her role and her Cerberus connections in ME2....I do honestly think you guys will be rejoicing a nice sized portion given her in ME3 as I curse it....Chins up Miranda fans, she plays too much of a central role to be badly sidelined....No ones going to get the over favortism of Liara, but I would bet my life Miranda will get something substantial in ME3....possibly pivotal depending on Sheps interractions with her in ME2.

Eh, I don't think that's worth worrying about.  No different than Ashley fans calling her "Ash" for short.  Nicknames are pretty harmless, in my opinion.

I agree, but the thing with Miranda is that there's areas that aren't fully fleshed out in the leak. There's something related with Lazarus, the majority of the arc with Cerberus and TIM, and allusions to some sort of research. That's a fair bit of story-critical plot threads to be tied into.

To me at least Miranda's the "face" of Cerberus for the player. TIM's this larger-than-life character that we have limited interaction with, but Miranda has a lot more characterization. We get to know her as a person, understand her motivations it makes sense that she'd be Shepard's contact for all things Cerberus.

Also certain parts of the leak interest me from a storytelling standpoint. If I want to depict Miranda as a tragic character, there's an option to have that happen in ME3. But I want the option to have the "Fighting for the future of humanity" story that Liara alludes to in LoTSB.

I've secretly had it in my head that deep down inside Miranda shot Niket cause he called her Miri infront of everyone. I really hope Shepard wont call her that in ME3.

In general I think some people on here need some "away time".  You're freaking out like a motherf*cker with absolutely no provocation (well no new provocation anyway). I think stepping back, not just from the thread but from Miranda might do you some good. Play something else. Or read a book (LOL). Or at the very least spend some time on other character threads (I'm telling you, the Kasumi thread is the most peaceful place I know on the BSN).
I'm not telling you to GTFO. I'm just saying a change of pace might bring some new perspectives. Or at least give you a break from all the doom and gloom.

This is some good advice, for everyone.  Variety is the spice of life and all that.  

Most of the character threads seem to be full of pleasant people so if one thread gets too nasty, there's always alternatives to visit while everyone cools off 

That said, this thread seems to be getting slightly on track again.

I still haven't quite gotten over Miranda's icy demeanor completely flying out the window the second she gets on board the Normandy.  Going from a cold attitude that borders on contempt straight to "Hey, what's up buddy? :D" in the span of about 20 ingame minutes never fails to be jarring.
