Which is very stupid in my opinion. It'd have been better in my opinion if the new squadmate would be a Sentinel instead of and Engineer (with a differen character of course). If someone wants to have a squadmate per class, it's easier to save Garrus and Tali in the SM than going back in ME and save Kaidan.

I too can only hope for the best since BW is being so secretive about Miranda.  Besides, let's say that my Shep decided to save Ash instead of Kaiden, who would the new sentinel on the squad be?  I've heard about the new EDI role (groans), who probably is an engineer.

There won't be a Sentinel on the team if Kaidan is dead:
Ashley = Soldier
Vega = Soldier
EDI = Engineer
Prothean = Adept or Vanguard
Garrus = Infiltrator
Tali = Engineer
Liara = Adept

I do see why she'd be hesitant to join an Alliance ship, but there were characters in ME2 that were willing to overlook the fact that they were working with Cerberus.  And technically, Cerberus was a dark sibling to the Alliance in the beginning, until much later, of course.

I believe the Alliance will do its utmost to make people forget that little fact. Anyway, Miranda won't be on the team and that's mostly OK. If she's awesome where she's present. Details have been repeated on the previous pages, I don't need to repeat it yet another time.

Less than you'd think, shepard1038. There is the damning evidence of the leaked script to consider. It remains to be seen what comes out on top in the end: character integrity and the many reasons why Miranda should retain her ideals and her ambition along with her love for Oriana, or the general sidelining of the ME2-exclusives and the mindset that makes Bioware equal Renegade with failure.

Or, to say it in Liara's words, what will come out on top: "The future of humanity, as evidenced by the perfect Ms Lawson", or "You have no idea how much you've changed her"?

For me it will always be the former, no matter how much I'll have to add in my mind. But it would still be insulting to find nothing at all of that in the game.

Definitely something that very much gets my goat. Even the reporter isn't independent of the Alliance.

Man wish I hadn't seen this page... EDI and Prothean as squadmate? Hmm I wanted to keep that a surprise... Oh well not a huge surprise since they sound stupid. EDI as a squadmate? Right... Lets see how that'll work and the Prothean? Where the hell was he for the last 50 000 years!?

Understood--sounds like we both agree about the reporter (I'm not much of a people person).  I did indeed read quite a few pages back--just have been unable to write for a while.  Well, tbh, Bioware DID say that the game would have consequences for choices you made.  My preferred class is sentinel anyhow--I just usually took Miranda with me because I liked her dialogue.

I think those are not necessarily contradictory. (It would be odd, after all, for them not to make sense together, since one statement follows the other in the dialog.) But anyway, the first one is crucial, I agree.

I like that line.

"Future of humanity" is the woman I fell in love with.  Plus whats in it for femshep who don't get the romance?

I suppose but what would of kept it powered for 50 000 years! I guess I'll find out... I would've rathered the Protheans be kept dead. I can see the plot now....
