I don't think she meant, that they did. She's just keeping the part of the cell, that was left out by the Alliance possibly, safe. I think the engineers, Joker and some of the non squadmateish crew will be ''forgiven'' and taken to the new Normandy, but some will be left to their own devices. I wouldn't be surprised, if Miranda stayed with those.

Anyway, I hope she's not an enemy. I am not into those kind of plots, not with someone like Miri, who's important part of -my- story. It could be anyone else.

Mess Sergeant Rupert is the enemy!
Think about it, it's usually the one you least suspect! Or Kelly!

But no I really liked the Lazarus team in ME2...

Part of me doesn't like how the Alliance have parked themselves on the SR2.

Yeah, they just snatch the Normandy away. First off it wasn't an Alliance ship anymore. It didn't really belong to anyone after resigning lol.

Well it's not the same ship anymore, so doesn't really matter to me. I cared for the crew more in ME1. The engineer couple is fun, but other than that, didn't feel too much for the crewmates. It was just ''Yay we just came here and have no idea, what the organization that we are working for is like, but we heard Lawson and Shepard are pwetty darn good. So let's doooo thiiis!''

Anyway, at least Joker is still the pilot. The Normandy wound not be the same without him taking the helm.

I don't like it at all. Don't ask me to explain.

But Miranda leading a team of people that is willing to "follow her into Hell itself?" That I like very much. And then she takes over Cerberus, rejoins for the final battle, and helps rebuild humanity.

If the Council revoked his Spectre status after "Arrival", the Normandy was in possession of a criminal, Shepard. The Alliance had the rigth to impound it.
Can't say I liked it but still...

Yeah, they were pretty much all phenomenally weak minded. Still, they were adorable.

I think you spoiled something...idk.

I didn't play Arrival yet. I talked to Hackett, but that was it for now, I told him I was on a mission, so that I can do it later.

Not being able to go to the private terminal because of his message was bugging me.

If saved during SM I'd imagine the Lazarus Cell would be completely loyal to both Shepard and Lawson. To the point of forsaking Cerberus and TIM if it ever became an issue. Somehow I just can't see the Alliance trying Joker, Chakwas, Gabby, Ken, ect. for conspiracy and terrorism when the galaxy is at stake. Shepard's trial is the exceptional farce and a scapegoat. I'll bet they'll be on board unless they died. In that case they'll be replaced by Alliance personnel.

How in God's name have you managed to go for so long without spoiling the ending to "Arrival"?Posted Image

I'm not there yet. For some reason I have been procrastinating. But that is the VERY last mission I'm doing for my playthroughs. It's logical that way.

....WOW...with missions like Overlord, LOTSB, AND Arrival, it's like the SM is only the middle-to-end of the game now. Like Virmire.

Or...at least...one GIANT Epilogue after the SM.

Well SM is kinda middle of the game, if the Collectors still survived. Hackett says something about the Alliance having trouble fighting off Collectors, even though we only see one ship in whole game. That probably means, that there were more going around with Lazarus focusing on one single vessel. Kinda expands the scale.

And if it's done post SM. He says something like, "I'm not sure if this is a Cerberus Ship anymore," or something like that, correct?

What does he say pre-SM?

Please, no more Collectors...they were the enemy that was focused on in ME2.
ME3 = Reapers are here and they brought with them loads of different types of husks this time. That and Cerberus plus the occasional merc is fine...

He saids, that you should get the job done with Cerberus asap and such. He also mentions the thing about Alliance being busy placing their fleets to defend their official colonies apparently, they don't have too much luck when facing the Collectors though. I thought it was odd.

:o
Yep, one of my favorite scenarios. Would even excuse having her only as a temporary team member (significant interaction in those parts still required of course). I imagine she could use those parts of Cerberus who were closer to her vision of humanity's future. From the reaction of the crew she's got quite a bit of respect there.

Miranda as an antagonist....that I'd hate. Even if it was "only" through blackmail. Do. Not. Want.

Also I want my Lazarus cell back. They've grown into something like family for me. The only people I can trust not to stab me in the back. Unless there's one of TIM's spies among them, and even then that one would be grateful I've saved him from a fate worse than death. If the Alliance goes after them they'll get some Renegade lines from me - and the appropriate actions.

Well, Eclipes and Blue Suns mercs are no threat to me, ESPECIALLY with the traditinal headshot lol.

Seems to me that Arrival feels better Post-SM imo.

So do I.  I wonder though since Joker is apparently on the Normandy at the beginning and he left to join Cerberus in ME2 what happened to the rest of the cell?  I know jtav mentioned them following Miranda but I find this to be a mystery.
I'm pretty sure Chakwas will be on the Normandy at the beginning too.

Yeah I can't get around to doing that pre-SM for some reason...

Personally my main wishes for ME3 are as follows: Miri back, preferably as squadmate, I accept little less, but I'd need to somehow know or see how she works, if she wasn't one. Only then I could choose to buy it.

Secondly, the loading screens have to go. I was nowhere near as immersed as I was with ME1.

Then the mercs should be reduced to minimum, but I think it'll be like that anyway. Also having some feeling to the guns would be nice.

I think Ken and Gabby get transferred to new Normandy, especially if Ken is one of the best engineers Alliance has had and they come as a package.

Rest are easier to replace, but I never understood what purpose the rest served, you never saw them in action, other than the boarding, but they failed at that. :?

I personally hated the long elevator rides. Being someone who played ME2 first, you can understand why.

I don't,  not really. Sure the elevator rides were long, but if they really bothered you, it means that you were in some sort of a rush and you can't enjoy these games fully, if you're in a rush. I hate the loading screens so much in ME2, it's one of the best games I've ever played, but still I wasn't really immersed in it, like I was with ME1.
